Trackmaster Thomas trains never failed us. They've actually gotten better over time, and I'd say these models are the prime stage.

Works fine. Doesn't fit the wooden tracks.
This doesn't fit the wooden tracks which is unfortunate since those are the tracks we have. However i looked around and don't think they make any that do. So I kept this and my kid still likes playing with it on the floor or on the parts of the wooden track where it does fit. (It can drive on the straight parts of the wooden tracks but is too big to handle curvy parts and doesn't fit inside bridges.)

It's strong, can go up the bridge with no problem.

Exactly what I wanted!
This Percy was cheaper than most of the motorized Thomas trains, and I’m not sure why. But I’m glad for it! Works perfectly on my son’s Christmas track, so it made a perfect Valentine’s Day present!
