The Power of Imagination: The Neville Goddard Treasury Paperback – March 3, 2015

I’m glad this publisher has decided to reprint all of Neville’s best work for he may be the best writer on New Thought ever. It is easy for a writer to get some ideas into a reader’s head but it is a very rare writer who can make him say “Aha! I get it! Wow!” and maybe change his or her life. What Neville is trying to do is very difficult for we all have blinders in us that swat off unfamiliar ideas. And boy, is Neville’s world view unfamiliar. The problem is that it doesn’t matter if you understand it in your head. You have to understand it in your heart. You have to know and not believe. To actually know that you are a Creator, and act as a Creator, is the most difficult thing in the world. Neville is a wonderful guide to help you jump across this chasm.You will note that there is a chapter on Neville in this book, by Israel Regardie, noted for his books on “magick.” He has a very good understanding of New Thought, and understands the difficulties of actually working it effectively. He calls Neville an atheist, in the Zen understanding, which is false Neville was a panENtheist, soaked in the Bible and William Blake, a great metaphysician and poet. . He also thinks Neville teaches us to repress the negative and affirm the positive. Not true. He teaches us to acknowledge the negative and then transfer our awareness and imagination to the positive. But concerning emotional wounds, I agree with Regasrdie. . You can’t sweep them under the carpet for they have a subconscious power. Regardie, by the way, has written a book, “The Art of Healing” where he describes the esoteric practice called The Middle Pillar, based on energizing the chakras. I admire Regardie’s realistic appreciation for the difficulty of actually practicing what Neville preaches but he should have stuck to his "magick." To compare, you might also look at another collection here on Amazon of all of Neville's books, called The Complete Writings. I think this other edition is finer.

I am only partially through the book and reading glimpses throughout but wow! Something about this one really ignited something within, beyond many previous books on the subject. I guess I was ready for the new teacher to appear and to receive a greater understanding of the heart beyond mere thinking. Thank you Neville.This is a collection of ten of Neville Goddard's finest presentations, breaking down the art of manifesting and revealing the liberating truth, hidden in plain sight in scripture. The Power Of Imagination: I AM, Consciousness, Mind, Man, Manifesting, Co-creating with the All in All, The Field of All Possibilities, "according to your belief." Neville's very through explanation of the mystery of existence is simple and beautiful but never boring. This man was a way-shower out of the grip of despair, control and indoctrination. Some will probably realize after reading his works, why you spent so much time sitting in lectures and never graduated to a higher level of knowledge about your true nature. You may also see why you felt so powerless and spent so much time worrying about your future. You may remember times you gave your power away or put too much faith in other people that you thought were more important. As you begin to understand the awesome power of your mind and your beliefs you will certainly keep a closer watch on your thoughts and not let them wander aimlessly out of control. Respect The Creator. You will reap what you sow, later and larger and sometimes sooner than expected. You really can create a better reality.

Book camd in great condition but I have not read it yet. I'm sure it's a gr eww at book..I been reading other books by Neville Goddard and he talks about spirituality in a totally different way which is refreshing and uplifting and not like most others who tell people they will go to hell n die of sins n scare them.half to death. He makes sense in which other organized religion is a scam and lying to people to take their money and also making them.feel guilty in their lives because they din tg believe in the same as their congregation does.

I got the Kindle version and Neville's writing is so poetic and easy to follow. This is a collection of his works and while the entire book is 500+ pages, each piece is short and to the point. I am getting a lot out of this book and there are so many quotes that resonate with me. This is a book about how to be the master of your fate. There is some stuff that relates to quantum physics which I find fascinating. Whether you believe it or not, play his techniques as games because what can you lose? It's worth a try!

I have read this book and received wonderful teaching.Of course the possesors of Neville writing are only after money.They do not represent the Man.I love him!!Buy it for the sake of knowing and give thanks that you received!Well arranged bookRead it to the last word!!Repetition is the Key.Feeling the words.
