Healthy greens keeps skin glowing
Second purchase for me on this. I had great results the first time I tried. Was feeling pretty good and doctor made a comment about my white cells looking super healthy. Had comments on my skin looking like I was glowing.I would be curious to see what happens if I keep taking it more consistently. Lots of antioxidants packed into this. I take it with my protein shake or in a tea. Sometimes I take it as a shot chased by a juice. It isn't the most pleasant smell or taste, but it is a beautiful deep green color. It is easy to swallow and mix with some other liquid or ingredient. The bottle lasts a long time due to it being a large size.Comes in a nice amber glass bottle. It isn't cheap, but you do get a large amount and coming directly from Hawaii it is good quality and sourced in the US.

Fresh product and it arrives very quickly. Smells tasty, deep rich green color. This goes into our morning yogurt (a blend of powders I call “glop”) and I love it!

Excellent Quality Spirulina Supplement
The media could not be loaded. Both my husband and I have been using Spirulina supplements for many years. We have found this one, Pure Hawaiian Spirulina Powder, to be the best both in terms of quality, freshness and taste. We are both 57 years old, vegetarian, in relatively good health and take a number of different supplements. When we run out of the spirulina and don't use it for a few days, we both notice a decrease in our energy level and general feeling of wellness. While it is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals for everyone, we find that it's especially important for vegetarians. For example, a teaspoon provides 20% RDA of iron. The taste, which is often times a concern for people, is pretty good. We like to drink it is mixed with orange juice. The acidity and sweetness of the orange juice actually goes well with the spirulina and makes a very palatable drink. The challenge, though, is blending. The dry powder can be difficult to blend. We recommend you put some juice in your glass first, then the spirulina on top, whisk it vigorously with a mini whisk (but be careful....if it splashes, it can be quite messy) and then put some more orange juice on top and whisk again. It should be ready to drink by then. It is also noteworthy that this is a US product and produced with very high standards. If you are thinking of adding a spirulina product to your supplement routine, this is one you'll want to consider. It's a good value, excellent quality, and good taste.

I'm just glad it's good for me.
I've never tried spirulina before, but according to Reddit especially, this seems to be top quality spirulina. First impressions are that it kind of smells either like brownie mix, raw eggs, or algae, depending on who I ask. In terms of flavor, I personally don't like the taste very much as it tastes basically how it smells. It's a bit strong and if you use too much, it overpowers anything you mix it with. I have to use very little in my tea so that I don't taste it too much. Note that it doesn't come with a scooper.Flavor wouldn't be an issue with the tablet form, but the only reason I chose the powder over the tablet is because of the value that you get with it. I've listed the servings and cost here to show what I mean. All of the information is taken from pictures on the respective product's page.1000mg tablets, max size 180g/180 tab jar ÷ 3g/3 tab serving = 60 servings for $26.500mg tablets, max size 400g/800 tab jar ÷ 3g/6 tab serving = 133 servings for $47.Powder, max size 454g ÷ 3g serving = 151 servings for $37.Based off of the value per serving alone, I went with the powder, but after trying the product first hand, I think I would recommend going with the tablets over the powder. It may be better value in theory, but I find that due to it's flavor, I'm not consuming nearly enough of it for it to be worth it in the first place. Otherwise, if you try the powder and don't mind the flavor, it's definitely a better value.
