Brook Stone BioSense Memory Shoulder Foam Pillow with Better Than Down Cover

I have broad shoulders and am primarily a side sleeper so pillow height is always an issue in order to prevent neck and shoulder pain. At home, I used to use two carefully chosen pillows (one contoured latex and one feather), and forget about hotels where one pillow is too thin and two are too thick. Anyway, I recently read that you should change your pillows regularly for health purposes. I already knew that but it finally spurred me into action because my pillow setup was ancient. I did a lot of research and decided to take a gamble on this premium-priced pillow. Let me tell you that it is sooo comfortable and soft (even when sleeping on my back) compared to my old contoured latex pillow and it is very nice to only need a single pillow. Not only is it soft, it is the perfect height for me. I am pleased to tell you that my sleep during the last two nights since I got this pillow has been just heavenly. This pillow is the best investment that I've ever made when it comes to sleep comfort. The only question is how long it will stand up but the premium quality is undeniable.

I would like to review this pillow. Unfortunately, Brookstone sent me the wrong one. In this day of automation, how in the world do you do that? Since this is a 'seller thru Amazon' I have the hassle of returning it with the merchant as a bonus. AVOID!

Every week when I wash my bedding, I'm compelled to come here and write a review warning others against this pillow. Tonight is the night. DO NOT BUY THIS PILLOW if you plan on washing the "better than down" cover that comes on it. Once you do, the filling inside becomes a ridiculously lumpy, matted mess that is impossible to smooth out again. Ever. Every week I spend a good 15 minutes just trying to get the pillow covers unlumpy enough to sleep on again. I can't imagine never washing this cover, even using a pillowcase, so your lumpy, uncomfortable fate is inevitable if you buy this pillow.

I'm sleeping so much better since I got this pillow. It may be a bit "thick," but it fits me just fine and has changed my sleep patterns for the better. I sleep much more soundly and no neck pain in the morning. I bought this pillow for my daughter, at her request, for Christmas. She loved it so much that I had to buy one for myself and I'm so glad I did.

I have been very happy with my purchase. I sleep great on this pillow and have no more neck pain.I have also taken it apart to wash the cover and had no issues.

Although the BioSense Memory Foam pillow was designed as a shoulder pillow I purchased for my neck. I have a severe neck condition and have tried other pillows that just didn't work. The BioSense shoulder pillow advertised comfort for the neck as well so I decided to give it a try. It is the best most comfortable pillow I've ever used. My neck is at least 85% better and with my condition that's a lot. I couldn't be happier with the results I've gotten from the BioSense pillow. I've already recommended it to friends with neck problems.

Sadly, I found I had increased shoulder and neck pain after sleeping with this pillow. It was literally a wasted 100$.

I was tired of synthetic fill pillows or even real down pillows that would flatten, lose their shape, not give me enough support, and get terribly uncomfortable over time. How come these pillows are so popular I kept asking myself. Sometimes I would find myself using two pillows at night because one never seemed enough.Then, I saw this pillow at the store and was blown away. The memory foam gives it the right amount of umph - something solid that actually supports your head. Something that doesn't lose it shape or flatten but actually gets even more comfortable throughout the night.The first night I used it was the best night of sleep I could remember getting in a very long time. If you're a side sleeper and you don't have this pillow, you truly are missing out.Caution: this side sleeper pillow is very, very firm. The only way someone could not love this pillow is if they are used to soft pillows that squish all the way down.4/2/15 UPDATE: The down pillow cover is not washable! Once you wash it, it becomes uneven and gets totally destroyed. I am very disappointed because it said it was machine washable.
