Great Reloading Tool
Makes using your reloading calipers much easier to use and helps you to be more accurate in your measuring of cases and such. Great tool Wish I had bought one a long time ago. A must have for your reloading bench.

If you are measuring ogive for overall case length, you need this.
I am not a competitive bench rest shooter. I do so strictly for the challenge of 5 shots in 2 holes at 200 yards. But I “inherited” a 6mm BR REM custom made target rifle with a sorter stock. 6BR REM is no longer made. Even the brass is almost impossible to get. To continue I needed to craft these rounds for a custom rifle. That particular Sorry for background detail, but if your still here you do some precision reloading too. So you know the only way EVERY round is consistent is measuring case head to billet oh I’ve and knowing your exact chamber dimensions. So then you know a few thousands (.003) can make quite a diff at 200 yards or more. If your a hunter at under 200 yards go no further. You don’t need that kind of precision. So your measuring cartridge length from ogive and twist the bullet head to find a good level flat. It’s fired brass with ejection dents & dings. Inconsistent. I know this baby caliper anvil is too expensive. You can’t make one perfectly flat without being a Mac hits, so bite the bullet (pun intended) and buy this. If your as anal about precision as myself (& many others) this will assure consistency in overall case length and bullet seating.

Must have
This is my second anvil base. I now have 2 of these on my digital calipers for reading overall cartridge length and overall case length. Love this setup!
