Great product for the money
In geocaching it’s important to have a page in the container that finders can sign. Many times caches get damp , so waterproof log paper is imperative. This is a high quality product that can still be signed even if the container is soaking wet. Where regular paper would have become a large spit ball , this paper stands ready to serve.

Great paper
I use it with the ritr 1/2'' binder and the c9200 cover for land nav and general intel collection in the field, I use a fisher space pen and had minor ink smear at first but the ink just needed to dry,no smearing at all after first incident. I switched to the ritr 13 mechanical pencil and really enjoy writing on the paper, its very durable and the pen/pencil feels really good to write with, ill definatly buy ritr products from now on...

Works Like Other RITR products
The pages fit in Franklin Covey mini binders which isn't necessarily cheaper than Rite In The Rain, but gives more options. Expensive but works. This is good stuff. Wouldn't use this for toss away notes, but if you need no run, durable note paper, this is thick, waterproof and works like every other product by this brand.

It Works! HALLELUJAH! But ...
So, you only need to be a field worker and have a forever-project ruined once to know how necessary this product is! I got my first pack for a field botany class, and the first day, of course, it was raining the entire day! Thank the maker that THIS was made for just that, while all my classmates looked on in envy as I could write notes while we were soaked - even the professor couldn't keep his manual guide dry! That said, there is a bit of improvement that this product could do ... For one, pencils work great, but unless you write incredibly lightly, you cannot fully erase something written without a lot of smudging. Perhaps this is something that a special form of eraser could handle? Secondly, this paper size is ALMOST A5 (4.625" x 7" vs 5.83" x 8.27"), so it can almost fit in a standard journal-sized binder. However, the 6-rings do not line up with any standard A5 ring system, meaning that you are either forced to stick with Rite-Aid binders (little design and comparatively expensive), or punching additional holes yourself. I did the latter (luckily, the new holes still seem waterproof), but I'd appreciate this company build an A5 model just like they have the universal 8.5" x 11" available. Thanks, Rite Aid! You saved my entire classes' botany notes!

Rain or shine you can take a note anytime
You can write on this paper in just about any wet conditions; from wet fog to in the rain. Yes, dry is always best, but that's not always the case when making notes and pictures.

Beautiful paper, truly water resistant!
This paper is rad. True to description, great for writing in the rain/withstanding spills, you name it! Rite in the Rain sells a special pen for this, and I would check it out. I used a variety of regular pens on these and they take a while to dry and sink in without smearing. Some inks will just never sink in and just sit on top the page to eventually sort of chip off. If you don't want to risk it, buy the companion pen, otherwise do some experiments on your own. I found Muji pens to be great, as are skinny Sharpies. Beautiful color and weighty handfeel to each page. Used these for note-taking in an herbalist apprenticeship, so lots of time outside (sometimes in inclement weather) and the finished product is lovely and a real keepsake.
