PERFECT for EPSEN.... when others AREN'T ...
I have an Epsen Xp4100 and I have two packs of other "refilled" cartridges in it and they would NOT be recognized no matter what I did.. and this never fails to. It's half the cost of my regular Epsen in packet- and MUCH more value thereby-- AND-- my printer recognized it every single time but the others that come in almost exactly the same box- do NOT..

Printer wont read the chip right out of the package, NO SUPPORT AT ALL
I purchases a few of these when I had the extra funds because they are hard to come by in my area when I need them. I work from home and have kids always printing things so when I find a deal, I will grab them. That being said, it has been a few months since I purchased these that I needed to use any of them. Well, out of the entire pack, only the yellow was able to be used. The printer does not recognize the rest of the cartriges. These arent expired and they are the right cartriges for the printer. I have never used anything but the brand for this purpose. Being that it was outside of the return window, I have had to go through EPSON support, which practically doesnt exist. I sent them all the photos, a video of the ink cartrige process, everything, and nothing was done, they were still working the claim... going on 5 months. These cartriges are full of ink, but have been opened and punctured. WASTE OF MONEY. this is the 3rd box like this, different lot numbers, and my printer is under a year old. I would beware of this cartrige chip scam and find another brand or option. Never had so much trouble before with ink and not to mention the maintainence box you have to replace. it uses half a cartrige of ink just to run the print head mainatinence it demands that you do. and when you are out of ink, it shuts down printing using the other colors that are full, and the other features, I couldnt even scan images because i was out of ink.
