jFlute Upgrade Kit - Black

Bought as a gift, friend loved it. Sounds great and seems durable, they were impressed and satisfied. Not crazy easy to play but it takes time to learn so don't get down on it

I already wrote a review for the Nuvo Flute so I’ll keep this short but I bought this kit with the donut head flute and it saved me money vs buying the student flute up front so I’d recommend doing that. It’s an amazing deal because you kind of get two instruments out of it. The foot joint doesn’t slide in as easily as a regular metal flute would but it has the notches for you to line up and the flute should come with some grease so I didn’t have a problem getting it in with a little shove. The only con is the head joint and body don’t have matching notches like a metal flute would so you have to eyeball it to make sure it’s perfectly in line with the keys. It’s a little annoying but that’s just me nitpicking. Overall buying the flute and upgrade kit together is a great deal and I’d recommend it

I always was interested in learning to play the flute. I thought the jFlute would be a good start. I then added this upgrade. I generally like the instrument, and I can see where I have a lot to learn. I was excited to begin learning, but I am disappointed that when I tried to install the C foot, it would not twist at all to lock into the proper position. The stopper at that end of the jFlute does twist and lock properly, so that is working. The issue seems to be with the C foot. It is close to the right position, but it is off and it is not locked. I don't know if it is useable this way. I would hate to have to try to buy another to get something that works. I would have given it 5 stars if not for this.

Good and sturdy. Added to my Nuvo flute to make it more conventional for adult playing.

The reason why I give 3 stars instead of 5 to this upgrade kit is because in the package there are no standard replacement key caps! Let me explain: the jflute is made for children, so two keys have extended caps to facilitate the reach for children small hands. If I need to upgrade the jflute to a regular student flute, in addition to the head joint and to the C foot I need also two regular key caps that replace the two extended ones! But Nuvo does not include these two (inexpensive) key caps in the oackage! Nonsense.

Good, serviceable flute for hobby playing. Sound is not spectacular, but it is good enough for my purposes. Only real downside is I live in a hot, humid area, and the rubber finger pads got sticky to the touch over time.

Het past wel maar het is echt voor beginners, de hele fluit en accessoires. Heel plastiky...nog net te doen..

Es erleichtert den Einstieg ins Querflötenspiel sehr. Und das entzückende Design motiviert natürlich auch sehr. 🫠 Zudem ist es auch toll, dass es ein Erweiterungsset für die Fortgeschrittenen gibt.

j'ai reçu cette Jflute Nuvo en noir en temps et en heure.Cela faisait quelques années que je voulais essayer la flute traversière, mais ne sachant pas si j'allais prendre gout, j'ai opté pour cette magnifique instrument peu onéreux(comparé à d'autres).J'ai depuis acheté le Kit en do avec l'embouchure fournie afin de jouer en configuration "normale". Cette flute est tout simplement génial, j'adore.Bon, je suis en train d apprendre donc mon avis n'est pas forcément objectif mais j'en suis très satisfait.Par contre au début, j'ai eu peur de casser le kit en do au bout de la flute: car c’était difficile de le visser les premières fois. Mais à force, il se clips beaucoup plus facilement.Voilà, n'hésitez pas si vous avez envie d'apprendre sans vous ruiner.

É um plástico bastante fraco. Mas serve perfeitamente para apredizagem.
