Our farm pond had lots of the green slime on the surface. Wiped out our algae in just a few days. Then we used the Blue Lake and Pond Dye for a beautiful pond.

This will kill algae in a pond. Use it when you see the 1st signs of floating algae to get it under control. ! gal. did 1 surface acre of my pond well.

Applied the entire gallon using a sprayer and results are minimal. To get serious results, it looks like I would have to apply at least 25 gallons based on what effect the 1 gallon had. And that would be a really poor value for the money!Some of the worst and contradictory instructions I've ever seen. It says you can put this product directly into the pond and it also says dilute 1 gallon to 10 gallons of water and it also says apply so many oz's per 1000 sq ft. If I didn't need this stuff right now, I'd send it back. Going to spray it undiluted directly onto the algae and see what happens.

Effective in preventing, controlling algae/it does discolor pond rocks to a green/blue color

This stuff worked great on my 1/2 pond. Floating mats of green algae gone in 3 days ! Pond looks great.
