Great rotary hammer at affordable price...Actual MRP is INR 16700...purchased for INR 10450...Makita is a renowned global power tools brand originally from Japan....worth the extra money spent as built quality is very good...product is assembled in China....3 modes(drilling only,drilling+hammering and hammering only)...weight is 2.8 kg...impact energy is 2.4 joule...package contains rotary hammer and a metal depth gauge...drill bits are not provided...ABS plastic carry case is of good quality...reverse function is present...variable speed switch is present ie harder you press the switch faster it rotates...compatible with SDS plus bits...can be used to drill small holes using impact drill chuck with SDS adapter...adapter has to be purchased separately...warranty is 1 year...overall product seems quite promising and well suited for construction and for home job...I would suggest users to use proper drill bits depending on usage to maximise rotary hammer performance...like for example concrete,metal and wood all these materials have different types of drill bits.....for metal hss-g or hss-cobalt drill bits are best....for masonry carbide tip is better and for wood pointed tip drill bits do the job.
