This review is for the Scanavenger wireless 1D & 2D scanner with the display on top. I have other scanners from this company and they are a great value. For the price you get a high quality, fast scanner. It's not necessary to spend $150 on a name brand. This one comes with a charging base which is nice. The addition of a screen on top gives you the ability to easily access the settings for the scanner, and it displays the last code you scanned making it easy to confirm that a scan was good. It is also very comfortable to hold for long periods of time. My experience with other scanners from this company is wonderful. We use these to scan hundreds and hundreds of bar codes and QR codes every day. Customer service is also good. They reply to questions or issues quickly and work to resolve. Can't ask for much more than that.

Great barcode scanner! Love the design and quality. Really fast with good battery capacity. The plastic cards are a nice feature, they allow it to easily be configured. Their support seems to be on point as well, I know I can count on them to be there when needed (which is hopefully never haha) It has really helped with Friday inventory and is essentially plug and play. I can't speak for all shipping instances but it came as a nice surprise, a day early! It's very precise and in the warehouse the built in light that activates when you scan it really helps with precision and to reduce double scans. I'm certain you won't be disappointed and when I expand, I'll be adding more. Tl;dr-would buy again.

This scanner is of superior craftsmanship. Very sleek design and scans every code thrown at it with ease. It can be charged or used plugged into a USB port. They will give a digital manual with your purchase that has some bar-codes you can scan to customize your settings and things like volume, lights, and time before entering "sleep" mode. You can also request an extended manual to program your scanner some if you feel like diving into that. The customer service team is 5 stars, but I would leave 10 if I could. If you are questioning yourself about which scanner to purchase on Amazon just message them with any questions you have, I guarantee your search will be over. Dan was my rep but the entire team went out of their way to test all of my bar-codes to make sure I would get the required results. They have been in contact with me multiple times since to check in and help me alter some settings. Hands down the best customer service experience I have had on Amazon in the many years I have used this website.

Product arrived in two days. Setup was extremely easy. I had the scanner working within two minutes right out of the box. I was very impressed with the versatility of this product. It works both on 2D barcodes and 3D QR codes. It also works when scanning off of PC or Phone screens! The wireless range was surprisingly long and also very reliable. Additionally, the scanner comes with several useful configurable utilities which are not available with other products I have used. Would buy again!

I had gotten another scanner and had to return it because it would not work. This product is spectacular. We are wanting bar code scanning on our products with QuickBooks. It works wonderfully for that. Just plug it in and go. We get readings from the warehouse as well. It works best to take the laptop into the warehouse and set up the barcodes, but it has worked scanning a code by bluetooth back into the office. Greatest thing ever is, we have had quite a bit going on and after the first charge, I lost the scanner's power charging cord. I went to the Scan Avenger site to see if I could buy another charger and have it here before it needed a recharge. I did chat with them to find out how I could order, low and behold....talk about customer service, they are sending us a FREE replacement!!!!! We are a small company and do everything we can do differentiate ourselves from the big corporate behemoths...they are truly great in replacing and shipping the cord for FREE!!!!!

I'd give this a 5 Star rating, my only issue with this scanner is that the red light doesn't match up with the actual scanner sensor... It's like ½ inch above the red beam....

We purchased this 8965 to use for the interactive displays that we build for tradeshows. It allows staff members to scan visitor badges before their interactive experience. First, it's incredibly easy to use. Scanning is extremely accurate, and this model can scan many different kinds of codes. There is an extended user manual available which gives you lots of different codes to easily program the scanner. For example, if you want to add a Tab after each scan, or Enter after each scan, and many other features. We needed help since we were scanning encrypted Aztec codes of over 100 characters, but we only needed the first 6 characters for our tracking. We wrote to Scan Avenger support, not expecting to answer...but they wrote to us within an hour even late afternoon on a Friday night! They provided custom scan codes to allow us to set our scanner in a matter of seconds, saving us hours of time and testing. We're incredibly grateful for the excellent product and especially the caring service. Good service is so rare these days, and we are truly happy.

never buying this brand ever again, bought several unit for my stores all from this same brand to not deal with the headache of different brands in the future in case one broke down, but to my surprise all broke down within 2 month of use, I am beyond disappointed, build quality was very flimsy and felt very cheap which I should've known to return them asap, but I thought there is a warranty in case something happens, and man was I wrong customer service are beyond horrible, once they knew I was past the 30 days return window their tone was horrible and they didn't want to honor their warranty, and asked me to buy them again just horrible and they stopped replying to my many emails, stay away from this horrible brand. I wish I can return those junk of a scanners.
