It worked for what I wanted, that is, to hold drip tray to condenser.
I clean my drip tray on my fridge freezer on a regular basis so the pad supplied with appliance had lost its adhesion. This was causing the tray to sometimes vibrate. I bought this tape to hold it in place and it seems to be fine so far. Would have given it a five star but it is definitely not 1/2", apart from that it's fine and it will be kept handy in my kitchen from drip tray cleaning days.

Misled on sizing
This type is sold as half an inch wide and it clearly is not half an inch wide unfortunately I cannot return this because I need this item

used this to mount a glass bed on my 3d printer

Useless !
I never got to find out if it would withstand the heat as it wouldn't stick anything to stay up for more than 10 minutes !!!
