This book is for any level, it is possible to use the first 7 chapters to learn about OSINT, especially on how to setup and maintain you OSINT machine and to make sure you will be ready for the other 23 chapters of pure knowledge. I found it particularly useful and it helped me a lot to discover new techniques and to refine the ones I knew already.

Excellent book, covers a very wide range of techniques for OSInt. Somewhat USA centric but so is the Internet. Well worth buying for any beginner or intermediate level student, even the expert will find content of interest.

This is the newest version updated with topics and technology more relevant to today's work.

A uniquely fascinating summary of various OSINT techniques to gather digital information. I have worked in cybersecurity for several years now and there were tools and techniques mentioned in this book that I'd never heard of. It covers many different techniques and procedures, each one being shown with realistic examples, and also covers the specific details of resources such as plug-ins, applications and Web-based tools.Only downside is that OSINT tools and techniques evolve and become obsolete very quickly as you would expect, so an eBook would be a preferred resource for future reference. In any case, this is probably the best book on the market on the subject of OSINT and would highly recommend this to anyone interested in this subject.
