Great for climbing
I have gnarly wrist pain in both my hands. The right hand is only ever affected when I’m trying to do handstands, pushups, etc. but the left hand hurts when I’m rock climbing certain holds like slopers. The right wrist never bothers me when climbing. Only bought one for my left wrist and it has been magic. Honestly, the dislodging feeling id get when pulling on those holds is completely gone, any sharpe pain on the top of my wrist when doing push ups is gone, and the handstand game is feeling much stronger. 10/10 would recommend. Only bought it because a friend of mine has one and let me try it out before hand. Only took one session and I was sold. Also, I have SMALL wrist, like a child. My husbands hands are a XL glove size and it fits him too. So the size adjustments are pretty good.

Golf wrist pain relief
I scoured the internet trying to find an accurate description of the wrist pain I get from golf. I don’t have golfers elbow. I have pain over my wrist bone on the pinky side. Digging in there is super painful, and it’s very touchy and aches during normal activities, let alone hitting balls. Found a YT video that finally described my pain (it was a weightlifter doctor) and this product was recommended. This thing is like an eraser for that pain. Instant relief. I couldn’t wear it while hitting balls until I put athletic tape over it to smooth the edges. Then it’s great.I mostly use it not hitting balls when that pain kicks in. Helps speed up the healing, as far as I can tell. If I get sore I wear this for daily activities and then two days later the pain is gone.Hope this helps.

Not really helpful
This item probably cost the company $1 to make. The price is a ripoff. It was not able to help. But along with a wrist brace it got some relief. As of 4/19 I am upping my review from 2 to 4 stars as the company gave me a refund without me even requesting one.

Works for me!
It’s all about pickleball for me. Wearing the wrist widget freed my hand from a larger more cumbersome wrist brace which wasn’t great at pain blocking, which made me overwork other muscles. The widget gently blocks the ulna from moving around and I’m pretty much pain free. I only wear it when I play. I also has an excellent occupational therapist who brought me to this point. I recommend both.Of course when I opened the box I said “really? That’s it?” After wearing it I wish I’d invented it.See you on the courts!

Slips out of position regularly
I purchased and returned this item. My original review: This doesn't work for small wrists. It slips into an incorrect position. Tightening the straps more would be painful. My wrist is 15cm, which is one cm more than the product details indicates as the minimum circumference. Nope! I tried wearing this for maybe an hour or less. The straps were plenty tight (photo 1), yet the device kept slipping to rest on top of the ulna (photo 2). I kept repositioning the device so the ulna was between the straps, but it never stayed put. Plus, this device is not at all comfortable on my wrist. It did not feel soft on my skin. If you have a small wrist, don't buy this product.Yesterday I met with my hand/wrist OT for my TFCC pain. She told me that this wrist band *always* slips, regardless of wrist size. It's intended to give you pain relief while still allowing you range of motion. I don't regret returning this band because it really did feel rough against my skin. My OT keeps samples in her office of this wrist band and the Bullseye Wrist Brace for Ulnar Sided Wrist Pain, TFCC Tear..... for patients to try on. I tried the Bullseye wrist band and to me, it's much preferable to the WristWidget. Only one strap to adjust, seems to be strong velcro, and comfortable. The ring is not hard plastic; it's like silicone, so pliable.

Good at first, then Really bad!
I hurt my wrist doing a variety of sports and a ligament at the bottom (pinky size) was throbbing and inflamed. Rotation inward caused sharp pain as well as bearing any weight. After doing my research I encountered this product, and at first I was surprised. It feels flimsy, like there is minimal support, but i feel fine.As the pain subsided I slowly went back to doing sports. While doing sports I would tighten it more so it didn’t slip. After a 2 day stretch of doing BJJ, rockclimbing and other stuff, while wearing this, I ended up feeling even worse pain, and it became clear the widget had been applying too much pressure. I stopped wearing it and went with a traditional brace and rested for a few days. Then I went back but this time with traditional brace (with a metal rod) and did my activities but this time, no pain and no noticeable inflammation. Thus, I can’t go back to wearing this, although return window has closed. But my advice is to not trust the hype and stick with the traditional brace that offers more support, is more ergonomic and is cheaper.

works great, wish it were cheaper
Seems overpriced for two pieces of velcro stuck together, but there is nothing else like it for a TFCC injury. This thing is a lifesaver. This is the second time I hurt my wrist by falling on it and using this lets me keep working with significantly less pain.
