Unlike a previous reviewer the book I received is for Rav4 repair from 1996-2010; as the description states. I really like this book, it warns of the potential problems I will face in my repairs and gives step by step instructions on how to get past them. Owning Chilton and Hayes books since 1987, this is by far the WORST one yet. It basically covers bits and pieces of vehicles made before 2007. And when it does specifically address the 2008 model, it is terrible - example, replacing headlight assembly, references back to removing the grille. The steps within the grille removal section states see illustration - but there isn't one for any post 2006 models. The book's contents jumps around and is terrible to try to follow. Buyer beware, you will want to return it as soon as you unwrap the cover!

This is a pretty good manual. It is however not all inclusive, but it covers most everything. I would recommend it for the average car owner.

The title says 1996 to 2010, but the cover of the repair manual clearly shows 1996 - 02. As a result I cancelled my order. Amazon needs to fix this.
