Ripping Pull-Ups!
I love this pull-up/chin-up strap. It feels to be made of high quality. I've used it a few times and it works as it should. It has removeable tension bands to make it easier or more challenging. You can shorten or lengthen the strap to also make it easier or more challenging. The foot hold will keep you from getting popped in the crotch by the tension bands. This will definitely help with increasing your pull-up or chin-up numbers, as well as your form. The single critique I have is I would like it to have two foot holds instead of one.

Quality Purchase
This is very easy to use, durable, and comfortable. It made my progress on pull ups that much better. Would recommend.

Pushing its limits.
I purchased this product back in October 2022. It is now July 2023. I am 6’-5” and 243 pound male, so just over the product advertised a weight limit. At the time I could not do a pull up at all. I purchased this product and with using all three bands was able to accomplish pull ups. I built myself up to where I could do pull ups with only using two bands. I can currently do a few pull ups without using any bands at all. However, my workout requires 55 total pull-ups, and which case I still need the bands to complete the work out. Two of the bands have failed (under load) as can be seen in the pictures. As previously stated, I am a few pounds over the weight limit. This product did help me accomplish my goal of being able to achieve pull ups without assistance. However, I do still like to use the product to accomplish full workouts. I wish I could purchase replacement bands instead of re-purchasing the entire product. I would recommend this product for someone that cannot do pull ups, however, if you are close to the weight limit, you could see failure in the product over a lengthy period of time. I worked out approximately three times a week doing 55 reps per workout with the bands after 8-9 months is when it started to fail.

Helps old guy with abdominal muscle strain.
As an old, out of shape guy, my unassisted pull up ability is down to about 20% of what it was as a teen. This is partly due to being out of shape, partly due to being heavier than I was as a teen, and partly due to a muscle / ligament strain on the right side of my abdomen that makes its presence very well known during the first unassisted pull up. By putting my right foot in the stirrup and configuring for a high level of assistance, I am able to do maybe half a dozen pull ups without abdominal pain and yet get some amount of workout during the top couple of inches where the assist is no longer under much tension.Tension is controlled by whether you use one, two, or three elastic bands, and also by how many times you wrap the top strap around your pull up bar before clipping it to the device with its carabiner. While both methods will affect the amount of assist, the two methods provide different assist profiles. The more you wrap the top strap around the bar (the higher up the stirrup) the more uniform the assist is over the full range of motion of the pull up, since the assist will be stretched through more of the pull up. On the other hand, if you maximize the length of the device with no extra loops of the strap, and just control the assist with the number of elastic bands, depending on how tall you are, the assist will quickly disappear as you proceed through your pull up.

If it can help me, it can help anyone - works great
I am just starting to work on pull ups and there is no way I could do them without the assist. This one was very easy to put on my pull up bar -- just wrap it over the bar and hook the carabiner into one of the many loops on the strap. The multiple options for loops lets you pick just the right length for you and the level of assistance that you need. I also like that it is optimistic enough that at some point in the far away future I might not need as much band assist and the option is there to lengthen the strap and/or remove 1 or 2 of the 3 elastic bands. The elastic bands are very very strong and work just fine even with my weight -- they assist well and are very sturdy (and not too stretchy). It shows that you can also use this as a type of resistance band for other exercise -- but the resistance of these is so strong I could not do the upper body options -- so I will just use it for the assist as it works perfectly for this, but if you are really looking to build, this band will give you a heavy resistance for other exercises. I am very pleased with the band and look forward to being able to work on my pull ups at home.

Not quite as listed
I had purchased a very similar product in 2015 and I hoped this would be an equivalent product. I must say this, as pointed out by another review, does not provide 165lb of assistance. I am also found it is longer than my old one and being very tall found it challenging to attach it as high as possible on the bar. I am keeping it only because I don't know of any other product at this time that will work. This cut my reps in half due to such a drop in assistance. Needs way stronger bands to live up to 16lb

A must to avoid injury
First, surprised this doubles a resistance bands!Anyway, if you do anything.... do yourself a favor and but these. 1. Surprisingly strong, I'm about 200lbs average build and not in shape so a little confidence these give is a blessing for me. 2. They are adjustable. Just remove bands as neededMine was attached to the crossbar at the handlebars initially but log beams are handy as positioning was crucial to a certain facing direction more comfortable for me. The back cushion all the way in I rubbed the back so lift the pin and pulled it out completely works if that bothers some. Merely a convenience where my support is.Well built and designed for heavy use.
