I had a slightly different use case for this document organizer, I wanted something in which I could carry, store and organize pit board numbers. The item is definitely waterproof, the cover is a thick, grippy rubber like texture. I expect the zip itself isn't fully watertight, so couldn't be submerged. The plastic dividers are fine - they are easy to separate and of sufficient thickness. The color coding is useful, and little white blank stickers are provided for you to label each divider if necessary. I haven't tested it's fireproof rating, and I don't intend to, but I'm sure given it's outer shell like texture it would stand up to being toasted on a bbq :)

Good sturdy product which does the job its designed to, however the finish is sticky and picks up every bit of dust and soon messy

I guess that most of us will never really know how fireproof these cases are. I can't imagine it would last for too long in extreme heat, nor be completely waterproof if submerged in water, but presumably it would stand modest heat for a short time and stay dry if water was thrown over it. Quite a slim case so won't hold anything too bulky but good enough for my needs, so I'm happy with it.
