The real GM amber stuff, anti foaming with noise reducing agents. I used it in my 1992 GMC Sierra
This is the latest part number for the amber colored power steering fluid that was used in my 1992 GMC Sierra 1500This is the normal outdoor temperature fluid. There is a special fluid for extreme cold outdoor temps but this is not that fluid. I put a new power steering pump on my truck. I flushed the system with Valvoline power steering fluid by using 2-2.5 quarts of Valvoline PS fluid. Then I ran almost two quarts of this GM fluid through it. I raised the front wheels off the ground and the"manual flush method" as I saw on youtube. Then I bled the system by having the wheels raised off the ground and slowly tuning lock to lock. I let the truck sit overnight and I bled it again. New pump is nice and quiet and also I feel good that I put the GM fluid in it. I'm sure I am good for another 28 years! I'm not saying that Valvoline is bad. I just wanted to make sure. The pump is a pain to replace on the 4.3 Liter engine. If something does happen to the new pump, I can show my receipts showing I used the correct GM fluid.

Great so far
This was the suggested and highest rated power steering fluid for my steering system. No problems or complaints after several months.

What can you say about power steering fluid :)
In all my years of driving I can’t say that I’ve ever been asked to review power steering fluid. In this case I’m able to report that this fluid is packaged in a rugged petroleum based synthetic and durable decanter. The packaging is efficiently designed to eliminate the need to utilize a funnel when dispensing the product into my GM vehicles power steering fluid receptacle. The elongated neck fit well into large hole of receiving end of the fluid reservoir. Once the load was delivered a slight massaging of the system had steering action back to it’s smooth action and the whining unit seemed to have been satisfied by this fine lubricant. I highly recommend this product

Great Price
A lot better price than local auto part stores and the dealer. This is what my old Pontiac recommends for power steering since they don't make type A ATF anymore.

perfect for our older GM product, seems to have been a better purchase than nonfactory products at local auto store
