love it
I love this pitcher. i bought it in the green but it comes in other colors. its well made and doesnt feel flimsy or cheap. i would definitely hand wash it because its plastic. the center cylinder easily comes out with a twist. i like that you can unscrew the bottom of the cylinder to make washing it easier. my husband has been drinking a ton more water since we started using this. you can put whatever you want in the middle and it filters out any of the fruit bits... im not a fan of stuff floating in my water other than maybe a lemon slice and ice cubes. i have made tea and added it as well... i have not added hot water directly to this pitcher i prefer to make the tea first and let it cool off a little so i'm not sure how the heat resistance is. this is a beautiful pitcher that we use every day. fits in my small friday... i think it says somewhere that it will fit in a door but this doesn't fit in my fridge door. my fridge is a bit smaller than most people have though.

It Fits on the Door - Barely
I bought this pitcher mainly because of the fine mesh filter for loose tea leaves and because you could safely pour hot water into it for steeping tea. The idea that it was designed to fit on the refrigerator door was a bonus which turned into a necessity. The pitcher is too tall to sit on my top shelf of the fridge despite rearranging the shelves. Finding a shelf on the door where it would fit required removing all of the door shelves and rearranging them so that the height and the width of the pitcher would fit on the shelf. It took a while to get everything situated but it also provided an opportunity to thoroughly clean my fridge. The pitcher brews tea well and the handle makes it balanced when full I also love that it seals well to keep the tea from absorbing odors from other foods. Having fresh brewed iced tea is worth the effort to make it fit. Recommend you measure the height and width of the pitcher and compare it to your available fridge space (mindful of moldings that protrude) before ordering.

Love it!
I've been wanting an iced tea maker for a while. Glad I didn't go with the machines I'd been looking at, this pitcher works great. I just add either tea bags or loose tea in the filter, add cold water, and let the pitcher do its thing in the fridge. The tea steeps perfectly with cold water, no hot water needed. Made a delicious pitcher of hibiscus tea today, looking forward to trying more tea varieties. It's a little hard to pour (heavy) when it's completely full, so I usually just fill it half or 3/4 full. Fits well in my not-so-large fridge, as well.

Good Pitcher not perfect
Sturdy pitcher for its size. But to heavy when full for my wife to pour. But we still use it all the time. It comes apart in three pieces for cleaning. Not perfect because of that. Also difficult to get the last few once's out without taking it apart.

Holds a lot of cold brew coffee
So far, it's an improvement of the 1st glass one I bought last year that the mesh ripped on and the glass one I didn't even get to empty before the bottom broke out of it. This one is huge and I think it looks really cute too. I wanted one to make cold brew coffee in.The only bad thing I might say after only drinking two glasses out of it so far, is that it feels like the plastic handle isn't strong enough to support the weight of a full gallon. But maybe it will be fine.

Functional, practical, and cute
Love this pitcher, I now own two. I make ice tea in them - I'm lazy, so I just pop a dozen tea bags in the tube, drop it into the pitcher, and run hot water fromthe faucet through them, then shove it inthe fridge for 24 hours before removing the tea bags. Perfect ice tea every time. These pitchers do well inthe dishwasher. And they're super cute.

Plastic Warps
Great capacity, strong handle and good pour spout. However, the plastic container doesn’t seem to support the heat level well. After several uses the plastic warps.
