Amazing CUSTOM case!
When I bought this, the custom "create your own graphics and text" version, there were only 2 reviews for the custom version so I feel like it's very important that I come in and leave a review.First, I got this thing FAST. Your mileage may vary on that: it was shipped out of Maryland and I suspect, though I have no evidence of this, that all of their custom cases would be shipped from Maryland so the farther you are from Maryland, the longer I would expect it to take to get to you. For me, it got to USPS Monday night and I had it in my hands on Wednesday here in Atlanta. But while TOP CASE can't control how long USPS takes to get it to you, what they can control is how long it takes them to produce it and in my case I ordered it Sunday night and it was sent out the very next night. So I'm very pleased in regards to production and shipping time and I'm happy as well that USPS then delivered it quickly. But most importantly, the case is awesome. What they do, at least what they did in my case, is start with a translucent smoke gray case (I think it's probably the one they call black in the product color selection but I'm not sure) and then they apply the graphics over that with what appears to me to be some kind of digitally applied paint. This isn't photo-print quality--I can see the pixels of the print if I look closely--but the print quality here, the DPI, is good and looks sharp and clean. It does not feel like it will scratch or wear off easily. The case feels like it's of good quality and I expect it to be durable and long-lasting. The top fits snuggly on the MacBook Air; the bottom doesn't fit quite as well but it's good enough.Speaking of the bottom: they do not paint the bottom so that remains the translucent smoke gray color. Since the primary color for my graphic is black, it makes a good enough match (I wish they'd painted the bottom black for me too so it was a perfect match, but this works). However, if you have a pattern that is fundamentally based around another color there would then end up being a contrast between your top and bottom. However, for all I know, they automatically pick the case color that most closely matches the primary color of your graphic but in any case, you could certainly ask them to utilize a different color case for your print (you should be able to contact them via their website or even here through Amazon).Bringing it back around to the lid: the black paint of my chosen graphic all but obscures the Apple logo which is fine with me because I want to emphasize my design, not the Apple logo. A lighter color might not block the Apple logo as well so just bear that in mind as you're considering your graphic. The flip side of things is that if you want to see the Apple through the case, it might be possible to include transparency in your design--you'd have to reach out to them and ask--and by doing that in the middle of the design you would be able to see the Apple logo (I personally would NOT recommend that your transparency in the middle of your design be the Apple logo itself because I have to imagine that it would very likely not quite line up exactly with the actual logo on the lid and that it would then end up looking sloppy but again, you could reach out to them to ask). So in my case, where my primary color is black, if I'd instead made that transparent and they printed on this same smoke gray case, you'd be able to see that Apple a good bit through the smoke gray case. And if they printed it on the clear case--which again I don't know that printing on other colors besides smoke gray is an option but you could ask--then you'd see the Apple logo fully. Again, I like mine like it is, I'm just explaining the situation to you here so you can make the best decision for your own needs.I wish that the feet on the bottom were black instead of white but that's a minor thing. The feet seem to be on there pretty well so hopefully I'll get good life and durability out of those. The customization process itself is really easy: just upload your graphic. I uploaded a high-quality PNG that was exactly their suggested size of 3500x2500px.Hopefully that will help you if you're interested in one of these cases. I can't think of any other details to include here but feel free to ask questions if you have any in a comment and, presuming I see the notification that the comment has been made, I'll come back and answer.

Excellent cover for Macbook Air 13"
Perhaps the best way to rate this cover is to compare it to the one it just replaced. This cover replaces a clear $59 Power Support USA (PS) cover that began to crack on the corner after 6 months. It was never dropped. The PS cover was slim, well-fitting, good looking, with a self-healing coating that hides scratches. Unfortunately that coating also was slippery, so there was always the potential for it to slip out of my hands when carrying my 2011 13" Macbook Air around the house. Additionally, the PS cover was molded with rounded bumps on the bottom surface, which fit around the built-in feet on the bottom of the Macbook. Tiny self-stick rubber feet are provided for the purchaser to attach over the bumps. The feet simply do not stay attached to the bottom of the slippery coated case, and within 1 week, all were gone. With no rubber feet, the cover slides all over the place on hard surfaces. New, improved ones were provided by PS, but they were still gone within 1 week, despite careful surface cleaning with alcohol. The bumps on the bottom of the cover should be molded with a flat recess to better secure rubber, feet, and with the coating not applied to that area. The PS cover required me to trim the plastic (with a Dremel) on the left rear side of the bottom cover to permit the MagSafe power cord to be attached with the cord rear-facing.Overall, I'd rate that Power Support USA cover at a 3.The TopCase was a gamble. There were no reviews. It was also less than 1/3 the price of the PS cover at $17.99, so it seemed like a small gamble. I've had it for 1 day. In short, it fits tightly, has a fine textured rubbery feeling surface that is similar to the rubberized hard plastic smartphone cases. That makes it more secure when I carry it. The rubber feet are inset into molded recesses in the bottom cover, so it looks like they stand a good chance of staying put. The transparent yellow color looks fantastic, especially with the matte finish. The only downside so far is that the white rubber feet appear to be a stiff, foam material rather than a solid rubber such as those on the bottom of the MacBook itself. The durability of them is yet to be proven. The bottom cover can only be installed one way, but the top cover does not appear directional. I installed mine with the 2 clips edge toward the hinge, and the 3 clips toward the camera since lifting it open probably causes more stress on that edge.So far, I give this one a 4 star, having deducted perhaps 1/2 a star for what appear to be not-too-durable feet. However, when I factor in the price, cool looks, and that I can easily buy new rubber feet if these deteriorate, I've gotta bump it to a 5 for overall value.
