An interesting toy,but....
I liked the app and bought the toy, but the directions are terrible! If you lost the web address, which was very easy to do, you have NO idea how to use the toy to its maximum capabilities. It takes too much for granted and leaves me feeling needy. I'd like it better if it was easier to use or had instructions that were easier to get to.

The original Talking Tom simply repeated everything it heard. My non-verbal child LOVED having someone who could speak "her language". This new Tom does all sorts of fancy sounds, but it DOES NOT repeat what you say to it. My daughter is so disappointed. She cannot interact with it like she wants to do. I cannot find the original anywhere. I am extremely disappointed with this purchase.

I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND
TALKING SHOP FAILED TO SEND ME A RETURN SHIPPING LABEL DESPITE MY REPEATED REQUESTS. I FINALLY WENT TO UPS AND PAID TO HAVE IT SHIPPED BACK MYSELF AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND. THEY REPEATEDELY TOLD ME THEY WERE SENDING ME A RETURNING SHIPPING LABEL AND THEY DIDN'T. THEN WHEN I EMAIL THEM AND SAID I PAID TO HAVE IT SHIPPED BACK THEY SAID THEY WOULD REFUND ME MY MONEY. I KNOW THEY RECEIVED THE PACKAGE BECAUSE SOMEONE AT THEIR COMPANY SIGNED FOR IT BUT I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND. I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM TALKING SHOP LTD. AGAIN DUE TO THEIR POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES.

Tom is Totally Koool
my son loves the interactive fun with the ipad he can have with Talking Tom.He is constructed really well and is a BIG HIT in our house. Tom and all his phrases are memorized and he repeats it including his knock knock joke to all friends, family and strangers who will listen...lolWe love all the other apps with Angela and Tom singing to her too..

I cannot believe I bought it
Trash. Horrible toy. My young daughter saw this on her iPad and she has been begging for months to get the toy. She has special needs and I thought it would help. I spent $50 on each toy. Tom, ginger, and angela. They don't work. They don't talk to each other and they don't interact with the app like they say they will. It has about four prerecorded sounds. A fart, a song, sleeping, and a laugh. Which gets old quickly. Then it comes with a download cable which does nothing.You go to the website and it says sounds are not available yet. Then when you get the notice that they are available, they only come in windows version. If you have a mac, it won't download the file because it works with windows only. Although there are instructions for the mac download, it is no where to be found. Worst $150 I have ever spent.
