Outstanding Audio Quality
I have used Yeti for 14 years and as much as I was reluctant to, it was time for an upgrade and oh my crikey, the difference is palpable. Fair is fair, I was not blown away by the vo!ce effects software, but I don't need it and if I did, I could easily find effects for post production. It is plug and play, sturdy build and easy to apply your preferred setting. While I will keep hold of my origial Yeti (analogue is not on the outsyet!) I will be using this as my primary mic and for a used buy, absolute perfection, thank you

The Logitech Blue Yeti X USB Microphone is a game-changer for creators, raising the bar for recording quality. With its four-capsule array, capturing that iconic Blue broadcast sound has never been clearer or crisper, making it a go-to for everything from professional streaming to Zoom meetings. The high-res LED metering is a thoughtful touch, allowing for real-time voice level visualization and adjustments, ensuring a perfect, broadcast-quality output. The multi-function smart knob is a game-changer, simplifying on-the-go adjustments and making switch-ups between pickup patterns a breeze. But where the Yeti X really shines is in the Blue VO!CE software - delivering not just clear vocals but also letting creators engage their audience with impressive effects and top-notch audio samples. And for those into aesthetics, the customisable LED lighting offers a touch of personal flair, blending seamlessly with your streaming backdrop. Paired with Logitech G HUB's smooth desktop integration, setting up and managing the Yeti X feels intuitive. Great microphone for Influencers and Streamers
I bought this because I was stuck with the PS5 headset microphone. The sound quality is crystal clear and sounds great. It's heavy and feels like a quality product. It did fall off the table whilst setting it up and no damage whatsoever so it's a sturdy piece of equipment. For the price though, if they threw in a pop shield or even a cheap but sturdy mic stand would have made it perfect. Slightly overpriced compared to the older blue yeti models with what this and they offer. My only gripe is that I'm using it on the PlayStation 5 and they did not release an app to get the full usage out of it. If the PS5 gets the app I will be more than happy with it.

Excellent sound quality out of the box. Annoying pattern selector.
This is a mike that works well if you get close to it. If you can get this close to your face, the quality is superb. The built-in compressor and gain filters make you sound deep and rich and solid. Set it to Carotid, move it in close, and never touch the pattern selector again. The stand is heavy and solid and offers some insulation from desk noises. Moving it into a shock mount removes almost all the background noise and I'd recommend doing this if you have the budget. It's not a perfect device though, and I have encountered a couple of annoying issues, specifically:I've had some issues with the USB. When I unplug it and plug it back in, it is sometimes not detected. This is with a Macbook. It doesn't happen every time, but when it does happen it's annoying. The only solution I have found is to turn the mac off and on again, which is definitely suboptimal. This hasn't been an issue with my Mac Mini.Another big issue for me is the pattern selector. It's a rear-facing push button that is super easy to click by accident. The old Yeti had a chunky dial which was much more difficult to accidentally activate. I've lost count of the number of times I've pulled in my mike, accidentally touched the button, and destroyed my recording. The only way to check if you have done this is to physically turn the microphone round which is not something you want to be doing mid-stream. The touch button looks prettier, but if you're going to use a touch button, you need to be able to see the visual feedback, and on this mike you can't.The other issue is if you fold the microphone into its stand without unplugging the cable, the stand acts like a blunt guilotine which can easily snap a cable. Worse still, the USB port on the mike can be damaged. This has happened a couple of times to me when I left my microphone on the desk and is how my last Yeti died.Overall, the sound quality is excellent. This is a popular microphone for a reason and I strongly recommend it. It's super simple to use, requires no additional setup, and if you get it close to your face, will make you sound professional. My last Yeti lasted for ten years before eventually giving up the ghost.A solid, reliable unit with a couple of annoying UX issues.

Quite expensive but good built-in sound controls
It's pricey although I guess you can spend a lot more, but I do love the build quality and the finish. It's a great product! For someone who doesn't have an audio engineering degree, I want a mic that I can easily record videos on my computer without massive background pick up.I had a Rode NT mic and this had amazing quality, but picked up too much for a home studio (I don't have insulated walls or anything, just a spare room). The LED feedback is a nice touch and the software for setting things up is easy to use. I find I don't have to process my audio with this mic which has saved me a ton of time. All in all, 9 out of 10. Only 1 point off for price, but you get what you pay for and I can't find any other decent mics that have the level of built-in noise suppression and other features that a mid-level user like me needs.

Top Quality Microphone for Zoom
I've had a number of high quality studio microphones over the years. This is the best. The most sensitive I've had too - which means there's no need to crank up the volume. It also picks up my voice very clearly when not too close. The frequency response is impressive - a beautiful natural rich sound. Perfect for recordings of audio books, and absolutely the best quality I've had for zoom calls. 5 stars.
