Did exactly what I needed for my project of providing new electrical service outside my house and plumbing conduit through concrete. I anticipate future uses with such a robust Rotary Hammer.

Outclasses my XR Impact by a LOT. Was not sure I wanted or needed it, but that concern was put to rest when I first used it.

Works. No issues. Used to hammer drill my house foundation to replace a toilet flange. Just need to use good sds plus bits.

I bought this drill last year so I could probe for rocks before trying to drive steel t-posts 2 feet deep. It works well for that and can hammer through sediment and sandstone well enough to be able to drive posts manually.After I bought this, my M-I-L told me the threshold of her basement door needed to be replaced. I checked it out and their builder didn't attach the threshold to the concrete floor, it held loosely in place with staplesgoing into the sides of the door frame.I used a shop vac on tbe floor to control tbe concrete dust, drilled 1/4 inch pilot holes through the threshold and into tbe concrete, then 1/2 holes directly into the concrete to hold barrel type bolt anchors. The whole process took maybe 15 minutes and this drill, with good masonry bits, goes through concrete as easily as my 18v DeWalt drills through pine - seriously, it's that good!
