Chalkboard Beer Tap Handle Bar Kegerator Draft Knob

I really like how the handle looks and feels. It has a shape and weight that gives it a solid, quality feel. However, unless the manufacturer upgraded the chalkboard paint since I purchased mine in '16, the paint is the lowest quality part of the handle: the marker that comes with it doesn't write right away. It takes a few minutes for the lettering to appear. Also, they're difficult to clean.

Great quality only down fall is it does not clean off very well. I think that is more a result of the chalk markers more than the tap handle. I did not try regular chalk with it.

The supplied "chalk pen" is not compatible with the painted black coating on the tap handle. Instead of using the more expensive chalkboard paint, this is just flat black regular paint. DO NOT USE SOLVENT BASED CHALK MARKERS!!!! They will not erase cleanly. Use real chalk or water-based chalk markers only. Too bad the supplier doesn't bother giving you the right kind of marker. I'm sending mine back for a new one because it's the right size for my keg. Let them deal with their stupid mistakes.

looks great, but hard to clean. I accidentally rubbed off some of the black and exposed clear plastic underneath.

Arrived exactly as described. Chalk pen is a tad odd but works well with regular chalk.

These have been really fun to have rotating handles for my dual tap kegerator.
