Easy to use and looks smart. coffee good temperature, brews quickly, easy to clean fairly quiet. gives off a nice aroma and good value for money.

You don't need to know more about a coffee machine than that the coffee is excellent! However... build quality is good, the thing that makes this model out for me is that filling it with water is much easier than many models, there's a large area to our the water into at the top of the tank and you can use it easily with either hand, which is not always the case. The coffee comes out warmer than our previous machine, which is a great advantage, and I think also improves the taste. Does everything you need it to!

Fantastic coffee ☕ machine, tank is the easiest ever to fill.

The first one I received had a noticeable dent on the front which was disappointing - it makes you wonder about quality control, or lack of! Luckily I live close to a post office so was able to return it the same day using Amazon’s simple return system. Amazingly I received the replacement the following day (a Sunday) and this one was undamaged. I’ve only used it a few times so far but all seems good and the coffee tastes great.

Picked this because my previous Morphy Richards machine eventually died and has been discontinued. This is a very poor substitute indeed. There is so little taste to the coffee that two guests thought they had COVID. It's awful.

Our espresso machine packed up and decided to go for something easier to clean and maintain. As those espresso filters do block all too easily, I considered a reusable filter but decided that was back to scraping grounds again, and paper filters must be easier. Chose this one on price and capacity, also I wanted something not too tall with a removable water reservoir and filter holder. The jug holds about four mugs of coffee and I use six measures of coffee grounds for that. The extraction temperature I set to the far left. I do not like bitter coffee, I like to taste the coffee. Use is as easy as filling the reservoir, putting a filter paper in, add grounds and press start. It takes a few minutes and we have coffee. Cleaning is as easy as removing a filter paper. I use the grounds to add to a composter. This step is optional. The warming plate will stay on for several set times, programmable. You can also program water softness, soft for us. So, life got a whole lot easier with this machine. We have a burr grinder now set to medium, it was medium coarse with the espresso to stop it's filters from clogging. You can choose all the way from fine for a bitterer high extraction coffee, to coarse for a mild low extraction coffee, but mine is medium, thank you.

Great coffee machine. Looks really neat and is easy to keep clean. Makes very nice coffee quickly and keeps it hot if you want (and you can choose how long you want the hotplate left on). Descaling warning is based on user inut of hardness level (get that from your local water company website). The only downside, and it's trivial, is that you have to take the top off the water tank to fill it.

I’d recently bought a different coffee machine … the jug was not very ergonomically designed so as a result an elderly relative lost her grip and the jug broke … so looked at buying a replacement jug fir it but it was 15£!!! So because of its poor ergonomics I looked at other machines … obviously opting fir this Melitta the makers I believe of the first home coffee machines … and wOw … it’s brilliant … and whilst despite it having the lift off water box which is genuinely a good idea as you don’t slip water all over the place from tap to machine you still need to take the jug too in order to rinse it out … despite this it makes for much safer use (the glass of the broken jug went every place 😝😝😝) but my only criticism (as a product designer I’m perhaps being too critical) is ghat the finger grip (a slot on the back of the water container) whilst comfortable and provides good grip to RIGHT HANDED people it’s sheer useless to left handed folks … I had considered a grinder inclusive model … but the jug breaking on our previous machine made me realise that I’d been lucky I’d not previously bought a combo one as it’ll be as many will of experienced with printer scanner combos … when one breaks it’s all done for 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️ So yes … I’d totally recommend this machine … my family have used Melitta since I was a child and they brought one back from the Nederlands … so buy with confidence I’d say (incidentally I only had recently bought the other coffee machine because I’m dyslexic and genuinely thought I was buying a Melitta but was mistaken - hence also my late ⏰ reviews - I got confuddled 🤪🤪🤪)

Good product but delivered to Australia with a UK plug which I had to remove and replace. A small but irritating oversight on the part of Melitta. But the machine works well.

Fast delivery, lightweight and convenient, I liked the machine.

I didn't try all functions yet. But is gives you good coffee. The water compartment is very convenient.
