Maple End Grain 15-inch Round Chopping Block

Exactly what I wanted! Perfect size, well made, looks great, holding up well with daily use and nominal care and it delivered fairly quickly. No complaints!11/16/15 Update: I've had this a couple of months now, I use it daily and keep it cleaned and oiled - it's holding up very well - looks and performs great. Very happy with this purchase - wish I'd bought it sooner.

This is a beautiful block that is made very well. Suitable to leave out on a counter if you have the space. I highly recommend that you oil it regularly during the first month or so of use as it continues to soak up the oil when new. I flip it over every week or so to make sure both surfaces get oiled regularly. I also have a Boos and this block is of equal quality. Highly recommend.

Good size and thickness but not prime quality woods, some knots showing. On the bottom of the board can see the glue. the edges were not well sanded. I will have a friend finish it with better sanding. The end grain boards are expensive generallyso this is the best I can afford right now but will be purchasing a better one later.

Greetings All,The first board that I received had a few small flaws, mini/ knots on the cutting surface and a large uneven knot on the unfinished underside.These flaws bothered me from a bacterial/ cleaning standpoint, and after a short email with the seller the second board proved to be much nicer.It should be noted that the bottom of this cutting board is not as nicely finished as the top, and the juncture of finished side to bottom edge, did require some minor sanding to make me happy. ( I'm Picky! ) All in all, this is a very nice cutting board/ block for the money. Some boards/blocks of this size are upwards of $250.

Absolute junk. I used mineral oil as suggested after every use. After only 1 month, not only did it come apart where it’s glued, but the wood actually cracked. I would not buy this! Buyer beware!

Just what I wanted! It's solid and beautiful, easy to clean (then I use Thirteen Chefs Food Grade Mineral Oil to protect the wood and avoid excess dryness). I use it to serve pizza on the table rather than as a cutting board. It's elegant, practical and of good quality.

Beautiful wood, heavy, good quality. The one thing I would say is that it's only finished & sanded on one side. The bottom is rough with a sharp edge. It's not a hard fix - I can sand it out - but I would have liked a totally finished & sanded board. Even so, it's worth the five stars!

This thing is massive. It’s very solid and extremely well built and beautiful to look at.
