Excellent travel set
Very nice travel set! Bought it last second to take traveling. Really fun to use. Nice colors, very usable. Good neutrals, natural green. Blends well. Nicely pigmented. Easy to clean.

Everything you need in a perfect portable size.
Paints were compact and as described. Perfect for my 14 yr old sister who wants to dabble in watercolors. Well organized kit and had everything she needed to get started. The third tray did crack but is still workable. It was a good value for the money.

Compact, lightweight, and good quality!
Excellent purchase for use as a travel watercolor kit. I used it yesterday at home and the design is well thought out, colors are bright, the brush is good quality, sponge is useful, and the three palettes work great. Compact, lightweight and easy to use.

Nice!
This is pretty cool. I like that it's easy to pack up, store, and travel with but is still robust enough to use at home. I love that the pans do come out so they can be easily replaced. You can put together your own perfect "kit'. The paint is great quality for students or people taking their art a bit more seriously but can't afford the professional paints yet. My only complaint is that it doesn't close the neatest. It kind of looks like it wants to bust open even though it's not packed in. I would like for it to have a more secure closure before putting the cap on. I also don't like the plain white plastic. It just looks kinda cheap

Perfect travel watercolor paint kit
I wanted something small and portable that I could take to the beach or camping. This was a bit smaller than I was anticipating but that’s not a bad thing in this instance. It’s perfect. And the paints are really good quality and blend well.

Nice portability and cute
I was excited when W&N offered this portable kit with the Cotman paint in it, at a very reasonable price. The kit previously had only been available with their Artist Grade pan watercolors, at a much higher price. It’s a very nice travel set. The plastic parts are well-made and the paint is ok, if you wet it first to activate. It’s nice to have a portable set with non-sticky or non-honey type paint. Much less messy. The design is fun, partly just because it’s so intriguing how the “box” comes apart to function, and then the many little parts neatly snap together once again to be a sleekly small, classy, portable art machine! It’s functional and cute. Leaks are better controlled than in simpler travel box designs. The organic sponge unfortunately was so fragile out it partly crumbled away, and the supplied brush is so stiff and tiny that I use another larger and softer portable brush. The Cotman paints in this set give me the impression of being less pigmented than a previous Cotman travel set I’ve used, purchased about ten years ago, when the Cotman paints were made in the UK. Or maybe I’m imagining it… But it’s really cool how they all fit in the classy little box! Haha! Happy travels.

loving it
Absolutely lovely, the water bottle only lasts one or two drawings, but the ease of travel with this set is amazing, I've been using it the last three weeks and I cannot think of an improvement for it, maybe a bit thinner brush, or to have two sides, a wide one and a pointy, but if you have only one brush, it's the right size for detail if careful.

I’m in love 🎨
In love! I have quite a few travel palattes & this is by far my favorite. I can keep this in my purse with the water reservoir filled & it’s easy to set up when I am at the park or restaurant with my 5 year old. He can play and I paint! I was at a Chic-fil-A and wanted to make Father’s Day cards & here is one that I completed. I’m only using the brush that comes with it this set and I love the turnout. It really is so perfect. The colors are lovely too! If you close this while the paint pans are wet it will kind of stick to the folding mixing surfaces and can cause a paint or two to pop out, however this doesn’t bother me in the slightest. I’ve completely closed this puppy in the middle of painting when my son has had to use the restroom and it didn’t ruin anything. Obviously the water cup I dumped out or held while on our way to the bathroom but the rest folded up and unfolded with no issue. I love it I will buy more just because I adore it. I wish it came in other case colors aside from white - but I’m thrilled so far.
