Works great!
I got a couple of these for a swappable trailer tongue project. Well-made and good value.

Works great
Only two of the four bolt holes lined up with the trailer but once new holes were drilled in the trailer tongue, it was just a bolt on afair. The mechanism itself works great. Easy to latch and release and easy to get snug on the ball. Works great.

Works GREAT!
I, just now, got around to mounting this on my trailer (actually it's a wood splitter hitch) and everything was as expected and went smoothly. The holes lined up and were the size (3/8" I think) I expected.Swapping out the old one for this new one was EASY.Thanks to Curtis and other buyers who helped by answering my questions. All information I got was accurate.

Well made, inexpensive
This was well made and strong. It is a Curt, so if I need to replace the latch some day I can. The only issue I had was a misalignment between one set of the mounting holes and the holes in my trailer tongue. In all fairness the misalignment of the holes could be because of my trailer, not necessarily the hitch. No problem, put in the first bolts then used the hitch holes as guides to drill new holes in the tongue.

Bolt holes don't line up.
Purchased in winter but stuff happens and I didn't get around to my project right away. I checked to see if it would fit but didn't take the sticker off to verify that the bolt holes would line up. Now it is too late to return it and I'm stuck with it. That's what I get for assuming it would be right!
