SACHAJUAN Leave-In Conditioner, Hair Detangler Spray, Moisturizes & Provides Shine, Oil-Free, All Hair Types

I have bone-straight fine hair, but I’m going gray. The gray hairs have come in with a coarse and wiry texture, and I’m now having to deal with frizzy and unruly hair. I used to wash my hair every day, but in the past few years have started to wash it every other day or so. The first day it’s frizzy, the next day is just okay, and by the third day it justlooked dirty. Seems like I’m always having a bad hair day.Then, I read a December 2019 Cosmo article about the “best leave-in conditioners” for fine hair, and they said good things about the Sachajuan Leave-In Conditioner. I thought the price was high, but what the heck, I’m tired of bad hair days.Well, happy hair days are here again and bad hair days are hopefully O-V-E-R! Today is day four after a wash, and my hair still looks great. Day one my hair was silky smooth and shiny and smelled great. Day two, my hair was very manageable, smooth and shiny, still smelled good. Day three, the same, but the nice fragrance was gone. Now I’m on day four, still looking good, minimal styling needed, and still shiny and smooth. I will wash it again tomorrow and see if the assessment is indeed true. I think I’ve found exactly what I’ve needed. Will update the review as I use the product more.

Heavenly scent! Excellent detangler- for my long balayaged hair. Lightly mist- and can comb through with ease. I then move onto a blow dry/prep cream...this is a fabulous product. It’s expensive but it works. Your hair feels silky, and smells great! I have a lot of long fine hair- so it doesn’t weigh it down. Or make it greasy...for me it lasts awhile- so the price works out. It’s a hard product to find- I’m glad it’s available on Amazon. It is authentic

There is probably a very small subset of people who know what I mean by 'smells like church basement ladies,' but if you know, you know. This takes me back to my grandma and her friends all sitting around the quilting frame. In other words, it smells like 'old lady, with a hint of stale coffee and bathroom air freshener.' It's not a BAD smell, it just makes me think 'old lady' EVERY SINGLE TIME. I will say that I tend to be pretty sensitive to perfumes and while this is strong and not my favorite, it doesn't actually bother me by giving me a headache or making me say "AGGH, get that far, far away from me!"BUT...it works. I needed a lightweight leave-in conditioner for my fine, straight, aging hair and this has delivered nicely. So nicely, in fact, that I am about to order a second bottle despite the price. If I look at price divided by number of times I used it, this actually works out to something fairly reasonable. 6 months of use for the first bottle, so a little over $5/month? That's not unreasonable for me. (This is based on using it about 3 times per week.)

My hair is so thin dry and leave in conditioner. I use on it tends to weigh it down but not thus it works really well I can come through my hair. It’s nice and smooth and it doesn’t weigh down. I will buy again.

The preface: This is my first leave in conditioner ever so did not really know what to expect.My hair before using product: it was dry, very thin, would break very easily. I would shed everywhere. On my pillows, all over the bathroom after washing and brushing. After running my fingers through it. Literally wouldn’t take much for my hair to break.My hair after this product: soft and strong. Allows for my natural curls and waves to playfully bounce in the wind. More importantly after about 3 weeks of use I realized I haven’t seen any hair shed anywhere. Also my hair smells great!Conclusion: I love this product! I need it in travel size!

I like the softening effect of this leave in conditioner - I have very fine, dry hair. However, I don't like the scent at all. It's a very strong, spicy scent that reminds me of Axe body spray - very masculine. I bought this on sale and probably will look for something different when I run out.

My hair has never felt better. I have more than 8 leave-in conditioners in my bathroom. I’ve loved them for years and years, I’m 26, and rarely write reviews and this stuff is practically magic.I have crazy frizzy hair naturally, and I get this will be different for every hair type, but seriously, try this. It’s worth the money because the bottle is huge and will last for a long time. It smells amazing and leaves my hair so beyond soft after I get out of the shower, whether I use a straightener/curler or nothing at all.Pure bliss. A+

Holy hell...I have no idea how these other reviewers managed to use this product more than once. When I read the reviews beforehand I thought some people were being dramatic about the fragrance. Afterall, I used to wear unisex fragrance for a long time and am not intimidated by smelling more dusky. When I got my order (along with the Sachajuan Shine Serum), the fragrance overcame me upon opening the box. Saying it has a "strong scent" is a laughable understatement. Having a strong fragrance is one thing if it's a pleasant aroma, however, the fragrance in this formula smells like a grandfather's cologne paired with very strong aftershave. Considering that I waited a week to get this and had *such* high hopes, I gave it the good college try to see if I could somehow learn to love it. Even the most willfully optimistic consumer cannot make this stuff worth it. You could get similar - if not superior - results from any other leave in conditioner at Ulta or Target without the heinous smell. Reading the ingredients over again, I'm not convinced that there is any ingredient that really sets this apart from other brands. It contains mainly water, silicone, and parabens, and putrid perfume. Returning this and spending my money on something more natural, effective, and pleasant smelling.
