Work efficiently and effortlessly
I don't know if I mentioned this before, but I love Aqara devices. They just work efficiently and effortlessly. I've got door sensors, temperature/humidity sensors/vibration sensors all from Aqara. For me they are only way to go for home automation and especially good integrating with Home assistant without a hub through ZigBee. Top notch stuff. Thanks Aqara

endless possibilities
Tiny little sensior that can be used in many automations. I use this in Home Assistant and despite it not being as functional as it is when used in the native Aqara app (which reports tilt, vibration and drop) it is still as useful addition. There are so many uses for this little sensor, attach it to an office chair to detect presence, attach it to a washing machien to report when the washing is finished or attach it to a valuable item to know if and when it was moved.

Unresponsive
I was using Zigbee2MQTT with a SONOFF USB Zigbee Dongle and couldn’t get this sensor to work reliably. Pairing worked but it was constantly missing sensor data and was generally being unresponsive.

Excellent, but consider your use case before buying
This little sensor has all the benefits of the Aqara system (e.g. it's cheap, well made, integrates easily to HomeKit and Home Assistant). My only caution is consider your use case carefully before buying it. It's seriously sensitive, so will generate alerts in response to pretty much any vibration. It would be perfect to place on a window to determine if it was smashed, for example. However, I got it to notify me when my washing machine had finished and I found it wasn't recognising vibrations throughout the cycle - it just didn't seem to reset itself fast enough after the initial vibration. Returned it and got a full refund so top marks Aqara / Amazon for customer service.

Brilliant! Small But Effective!
Got this to add to my Home Assistant setup, for detecting shaking from my washing machine. I had to set it to high sensitivity to react to small vibrations but it works. Do not forget to change the time for the reset of the vibration sensor for continuous vibrations such as a washer.Works perfectly with my sonoff zigbee stick, instantly paired after holding the button on the small sensor. I really just expected this to be a vibration sensor and that's it, but oh my, it is a Temperature sensor too! This small guy reports Temperature, Vibration, Motion and the Angle it is at!? This is a great little device to have around!I am using Zigbee2mqtt with mosquitto and HomeAssistant, and as soon as Z2M picked it up the entity was visible in HomeAssistant with all sensors reporting almost immediately. Why almost you ask? Temperature and Battery took a little while to come through as it only reports every 5 minutes or so.Overall I am very satisfied with it, the only small thing is the packaging, its oversized for such a small device, lots of paper waste. But otherwise works wonderfully and will certainly buy more in the long run!

A vibration sensor that doesn't detect vibrations
I hoped I would have a better experience with this sensor than other purchasers but sadly not. As others have said, even set at its most sensitive, this sensor detects vibrations inconsistently or not at all. The best I could manage was to get it to sometimes detect the beginning of a vibration but never to register the continuation of that vibration which meant I couldn't use it as planned to detect when a pump is running. I returned the Aqara and purchased a Third Reality vibration sensor which is having no trouble detecting when the pump is on.

Works with Samsung Smartthings
Works well with Samsung Smartthings, provided you use the Zigbee Sensors Edge Driver [YG] drivers.Just add the device, then change the driver to 'Zigbee Sensors Edge Driver [YG].You will need to add the driver support manually. The link for it is in the samsung forums under the post "[ST Edge/Beta] Xiaomi/Aqara/Tuya zigbee sensors driver"

Didn’t Work for My Washing Machine – Still Looking for a Use
I bought this vibration sensor to be alerted when my washing machine load was done, but unfortunately, it didn’t work as expected. It failed to detect vibration, even when the machine was vigorously shaking. I’ll have to find another use for it, but it was disappointing that it didn’t function as intended for the washing machine.
