This is probably the best car magnet that you can get. The reason behind that is, the clip that hold the magnet to your cars' AC vent has only 1 slit between 2 flat surfaces and works like a clamp. Others have 4 with points, that has rubber coating over metal points, and these get torn over a period of time. The possibility of that happening to this one is almost none.The belt cutter and glass hammer are just additional features.The only drawback I feel is the covering of the glass hammer. It is a bit difficult to remove the cover and then use it. Use a glass hammer will come only at a crucial time, and if at that moment the cover does not slide properly, it might be a huge risk.Apart for that, amazing product.

Good product. Marketed with a concept that it will keep the mobile cool when AC is On. Well in city like Mumbai AC is always On and the atmosphere is Humid. As such after keeping the mobile on stand for some time and removing it the entire surface, front & back becomes moist and that might affect the instrument. Secondly the AC air gets bounced from the device and hits the windscreen there by creating a fogness in the small area.Big bumpy roads might make the mobile fall down if you pass through them in a higher speed.If you r using a mobile cover past the metal plate on it so that the magnet and metal have direct contact. Tried keeping it between the phone and cover but the magnetic effect is reduced and the phone might slide down / fall.After installing the stand the vents movement are drastically reduced and the driver has to rely on the right side vent for air flow.

The product is made of good quality material but is not functionally appropriate.It clips on to the AC vent very snugly. However it has 2 problems.Firstly: The ball socket joint is not sung enough. The joint is required so that the phone may be rotated. However the joint starts to rotate with the weight of a >100 g phone. The rotation begins over small bumps and soon the phone angles and then starts to slip (due to the second problem below). The solution is to have a ball joint that can be tightened manually or have a different kind of ratcheted joint.Secondly: The magnet itself is not very powerful. The phone therefore tends to slip and fall. On a rumble strip, I need to keep an eye on it and support the phone.

I bought this portronics mobile holder for it's additional safety features.I like the small size of this mobile holder, but it doesn't feel like that it will be able to hold our modern day mobile phones (6-7 inches) over potholes and speed breakers.I definitely didn't like the thin metal plate and the adhesive given with this. I had to do some jugaad to make it usable.Had the metal plate and it's adhesive been of better quality and magnetic power bit better, I could have given it 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded.  Used it for around a week. The magnet hold is pretty awesome. But of you put a mobile protective case over the phone then the hold might slightly reduce. ( Mobile does stick sturdily in this case however in case of sudden speed breaker or pothole. The mobile may fall off). The adhesive on the metal plate to stick mobile may come off. I had it pasted again with a a stronger glue.worth the price. Compact and good.

Actually ti's is not supposed to work on Honda Amaze type of round AC vents. But contrary what the seller says there is a way around this. All you have to do is turn the AC vent upside down so it doesn't close downward but only upward. Law of gravity and then fix the holder. Works like a charm and have even using it for quite some time now. Only hae to be careful of some big potholes where it slips. But that's because it's sticking to my rubber phone case and not phone body. It'll def work better with the metal on the phone body.Recommended to buy.

I am using poco f1 with a good protective cover (in build base for magnet holder)This product is giving a very good hold for my mobile . It gets easily fix to cas AC vent and have good adhesion . During driving through bumpy roads there is no sliding or slipping of mobile. I have tested this on harsh roads for many time and I am satisfied. You can surely go for it if u want car AC vent holder .When mobile is sticker to holder , mobile hides the holder completely so only mobile is visible, it's very compact and slim.
