SealySealyChill Gel Memory Foam Pillow, Standard (Pack of 1)

I love this pillow. I discovered that I liked sleeping on pillows that are very firm when my wife and I bought our last bed and upgraded pillows. When the gel started leaking out of that pillow last year, I started scrambling for a replacement. I bought several thinking they'd be even better than my last pillow, but they were all either too squishy or too warm. I *hate* when a pillow is so soft that half my head sinks into it. It gets hot and makes me feel like it's suffocating me.I was skeptical when reading the specifications and seeing the firmness rating was "soft." But don't let that fool you. This pillow is *crazy* firm. It's one step softer than sleeping on a rock, and about as cool, which is exactly what I want. If that sounds like you, then purchase with confidence (though look for price dips, as others have pointed out).

I left my pillow behind at a hotel and needed a new one ASAP. This liked close enough so I ordered. It's a carbon copy of the one I lost. Sleep crisis averted. That said, pillows are a subjective purchase. This one is all foam, firm and has a gel layer for cooling. I don't think the gel does much. I've slept in the non gel side and don't feel warmer. I've used it with both cotton and silk pillowcase. If you want a pillow you can squish and wad up into a ball, this is not it. My only complaint is that the price changes drastically. I overpaid due to urgency but if you're not in a rush I'd keep an eye on pricing for changes.

Not firm at all !

Very supportive! I’m a side sleeper and don’t like my head to sink into the pillow. This one is soft enough to be comfortable, but also very supportive. The cooling gel doesn’t last all night, but definitely lasts long enough for me to fall asleep. Most of the time I use the other side that doesn’t have the cooling gel anyway. But it’s nice to have the option.

I have just received the pillow, and the first thing I noticed was the smell of the pillow. I am letting it air out before using it. I let it air for a day, then sprinkled baby soda on it and vacuumed it 30 minutes later and the smell is gone. However, it does not stay cool. I am very disappointed with it.

They are heavy and seam firm, but the or soft and mold to you head.

I waited to write this review after sleeping with the pillow for a few weeks. This pillow is amazing!! I'm used to very thin pillows so this one is little on the thicker side for me, but it's soft enough that it's absolutely perfect while still being stiff enough for neck/ head support. It has the cooling gel on one side that keeps nice and cool all night. Overall very comfortable and I'm considering ordering another 1 or 2 to shove in my closet incase they discontinue and I want another (I just love it so much!). Honestly 5/5 stars, will buy again.
