I loved this when I first got it, totally cute! But...this is VERY small in the hole sizes. I think even so for a dwarf hamster. I have regular size hamsters, not big at all. They still fit in the palm of my hand. I figured well they wont fit inside, but they loved chewing on it and climbing it so I kept it. Well about 2 months later, today I find one of them completely stuck! Luckily its made pretty cheaply (literally hot glued together) so I was able to gently break it apart and free him. I can tell hes hurting on his back legs I'll have to monitor him to see if he is ok. But can't believe he got stuck!

This thing showed up in pieces. Not because the shipping process was rough but because it is a terribly made product. I should have paid more attention to the measurements, but the only animal I can see it worked for is a *very* small mouse. The construction is terrible. The front facade wouldn’t stay on, so it removed it and use it as a decor piece in my hamster’s cage. Definitely don’t waste your money.

Over all product nice. Gerbils like it. They use it daily for a bedroom. It lasted a long time from the chewing. The only thing is they don't tell you is some assembly required.

This thing is smaller then I expected. I have a dwarf hamster and it was to small for her. The wholes are not very big and lots of areas would have needed to be sanded and there was lots of clue on it and I didn’t know if it’s toxic or not. I don’t think it worth the cost and I’ll be returning it

The window cross pieces are all falling out of the castle. The bridges on the ramp are both broken off. The front half of the hut is broken in two. Tons of very long and sharp splinters sticking off all over and globs of glue. These are not safe for any pet. I ordered all three styles and every one of them was broken upon shipping. I thought at least one out of the three would be safe to use but not one of them is usable. Do not even bother buying.

I did have to sand all of the entrances bc I was worried my babies could get splinters, but after that my dwarf hamster, Teddy, was winding her way through it. I found its great to put in her big fluff bin as a castle entrance to her burrow :)

I bought this for my dwarf hamster, the door looks VERY SMALL!! but he fits! hamster are very fluffy so they should be able to enter! DO NOT RECOMEND for a Siryan!! i bought the hide out with two ramps. its very flimsy but my hamster loves the wood and it maked the cage look very natural!!

I do not suggest buying this item. It is made out of pine, and the oils pine releases can get into hamsters lungs and cause respiratory issues. This happened to my hamster. Almost immediately after I put this in my hamsters cage he started breathing funny. After a week he was constantly wheezing everytime he took a breath. He got so weak he didn’t run on his wheel, eat, or drink. STAY AWAY FROM PINE AND CEDAR for the sake of your hamster
