I love these lights, give a nice warm glow in the evening without being blinding. Got these for my bedside table so when I put my newborn to sleep in her bassinet I can see what I’m doing but it’s not a harsh light to wake her. Not necessarily a good light for common areas, but I think it’s perfect for a nightstand to allow you to read/get ready at night with plenty of light but not harsh and “waking”

The light bulbs in my bedside lamp emitted harsh, blue light, which caused excess excitement at night and also caused unwanted thoughts. Then I purchased KINUR Amber Light Bulbs. First came the installation: I rotated the old bulb counter-clockwise until it was loose, then removed it from the socket with a tug. The bulb in my hand was cold and dark, still, I shuddered when I thought of that merciless blue light and the aberrances it had conjured up in my life. Out with the old, in with the new! The KINUR Amber Light Bulb installed as expected, with a clockwise twist until firm and snug in the socket. When I switched on the lamp, the brutal blue light was replaced by a warm, orange glow. I felt my body relax and my thoughts let go. Time for bed… I woke up refreshed and with a clean conscience. The team at work noticed something was different about me. “It’s KINUR,” I said, with a wink. They could tell the thoughts were gone.Another successful day without any incidents. I switch on the lamp and the orange glow washes over me. Time to do a little reading before bed. Goodnight.

I got the brighter one because when I bought it I planned on using it as a reading light and my eyesight been getting worse the last thing I need is to damage it more by reading with a dim light. Only problem is my lampshade is small and this bulb is big so it's not covered by the shade and wow it's bright. I've bought a new shade that should cover it but for now it's really hard to use it's so bright. I wish I had bought the diner one bc based on how bright this one is the dimmer one would be plenty bright. However that's mostly my issue not the sellers and it's a great light. So the 4 star review is only bc I it should be in the description that the bulb is quite a bit larger that regular bulbs and really I'm shopping for a light do I need to spend an hour on researching something they should have explained better. They are selling it online where we can't physically see the dang thing they should inform us what that brightness info actually means.

It definitely puts you in a more calm mood than the white lights for the night. I feel much more at ease when I'm reading next to my night lamp with this bulb. Really satisfied with the purchase.

Bought the bulb on a recommendation for my before sleep reading and it worked well. However, it burned out less than 3 months after purchase. I checked it in other lamps just in case it was the lamp but no, it is not lighting up. Very disappointed, especially for the money.

The beautiful orange glow makes me feel like the glow of a fire or candle light without the flicker. I am autistic and have sensitivity to most bright lights that are now the common household lighting. I hate them. I like natural light or soft yellow glows. This one is definitely a deeper yellow glow but I love it. Have it in my bedroom bedside light. I will most likely buy one for my living room for the evening. I am an artist so still need brighter lights for certain things so can't replace all my lights with these. But I see myself getting a few more for certain times.

Update: Customer service was quick to send us a replacement which we appreciate. Will keep an open mind and hope that this one lasts. | Original Review: I love the warm, amber glow of this bulb. However, on the packaging, it says that it should last three years or 30,000 hours. This is not true. I bought it in May 2022 and it stopped working today (December 9th, 2023) so it lasted about half the time it said it would. This is super annoying, considering the price of the bulb. I only used it at night, between one and three hours a night. So... obviously... nowhere near the supposed 30,000 hours. Just another example of a seller getting away with falsely marketing a product. That all being said, I may purchase it again because I'm averse to trying new products and it did work well for me when it was actually working.

This light works great. It takes some adjusting if you are not use to the color but now any other light it to bright.
