Architecture: Form, Space, and Order

Very helpful for my architecture class.

This book came in good quality. I still use it even though I'm not in school anymore. Great reference, and good information.

Great book with great design examples and step by step analysis of structures from around the world. the chapters are structured so that the readers begin with the simple geometric designs and developed step by step into magnificent works of art.

I needed this book for an interior design class. The book is indispensable in distilling key architectural concepts. It's just an introduction, but it really helps students to think in more architectural and 3-D terms. There are also terrific examples and illustrations. The book isn't too dense and easy to read.

As a non-artist taking a digital arts course, this is a textbook for me. I found the book to be a good discussion on architecture and spaces, but I've had to look up things talked about in the book several times on the Internet. I also find the writing is alright, but is not always as clear as I wish it would be for me. For people who have already studied some art and architecture, though, I would imagine this would be an excellent book. What I really like, though, is how it is organized.

As it's said in the title, my book(s) came in right on time but i accidentally ordered 2 book of the same books. At this point, I've return one of the books but I honestly don't know If i'll be getting a refund. Overall, I order this book and it came in on time and in good condition.

I've had this book for a while now. It should be a staple for any young, budding architect and the principles contained within are examples of what make architecture different from engineering. Great book by a great author.
