Installs like any other brass plumbing fitting with the aid of PTFE tape to seal the threads.
I used this device on an extending brush handle as the hosepipe connector to stop the hose from falling off of the plastic fitting supplied with it. This is an excellent product and does the job very well. I would buy again when needed.

the thread is slightly incorrect
The thread doesn't quite match any of my other 3/4 in fittings. It looks like faulty manufacture.
