So as someone who is very big on leadership and mindset, and Just, elevating myself, is a must have book

I got this book initially to see how good leaders operate and to pick up a few things. I had no idea how captivating and live changing this book has been for me. Reading though the pages got me excited about leadership and has pushed me to be better. Moreover, it has taught me and pushed me to teach others to lead. I can't wait to read more. This book started me on a journey I didn't know would move me so much.

I have been a fan of John Maxwell for many years and as an instructor and development professional, I have appreciated the sound principles that he has promoted to help us train and coach the next wave of leaders in our organizations, our communities, and our homes. Yet, the best part of reading this book was once again feeling that I was traveling with a good and trusted friend who values me and our team as much as his own family. The book is easy to read and full of useful information. I will be using it with my next leadership table!

Maxwell has provided the reader with a comprehensive guide to enrich people's lives by developing their leadership skills at any level of any organization.Dr.Maxwell book is a step by step practical and useful guide written from his many years of experience in developing leaders around the world.This is a must read for any leader who wants to add value to the people and organization they serve and lead.

In the past I have found some of John Maxwells book a rehash of older material. However this book seemed fresh.It still hit upon some of the older material but the information flowed and the ideas were worth the effort.

If you have read John Maxwell’s book The 5 Levels of Leadership you know that the 4th level is “People Development” - this book dives into that level explaining how you can become a leader of leaders. I’ve read every Maxwell book I can get my hands on and this is absolutely my new favorite because it clarifies how to move up to the next level of leadership! It’s a must read for any leader!

This book is definitely a home run hitter. The most frustrating thing in the workforce is having poor leadership responsible for ones success. This book is a must own for everyone who is a leader in the workforce. These principles will help the morale of the staff, influence others, and create a productive working environment. Overall a great read and with it being just over 200 pages a quick read. No excuse as to why you can’t invest in your organization.

In my reading, I don't recall any monumental shift in my understanding of leadership and its impact. With the current state of leadership practices and resources, this felt like a repetition to me. But it was a good repetition, albeit self aggrandizing (slightly).This is a good quick read to remind yourself about leadership principles and what you can hope to achieve with it but in 2023, there's not much new that you wouldn't find in a collection of other resources.
