I’ve suffered from low back and shoulder pain for as long as I can remember. My last two mattresses, a hybrid foam/coil and a brand bearing the name of a color, did nothing to help. I’m 5’11” and 275 pounds with broad shoulders and thick thighs. The AS5 gives great support in the areas I need while letting me feel cradled. The bounce back is relatively quick and I don’t feel trapped in the “sink” of traditional memory foam. I’m a side sleeper, through and through and this mattress just works.

Amazing bed! Great for a bad back. My husband and I purchased a bed 4 years ago. We have rotated it over and over. There is 100lb weight difference between the two of us and a regular mattress wasn’t working. The Amerisleep allows both of us to rest comfortably without noticing that the other person is in bed. No more back problems for either of us!

Really sucks I cannot return after one month. I have had it two months and am afraid to sleep on it . I have fallen out of bed four times. I feel the soft mattress "rolls" me out of bed while sleeping. On my last fall my face struck the metal bed frame and bruised my face. I have chairs to support me in bed until I can replace the mattress. Now I understand the reason for a short return period.

It's only been 2 days, so I think I'll have to use it for a long time. It's sad that the edges aren't straightened and it feels softer than I thought. I'm satisfied with the large size. I thought about what to choose between as4 and as5. It's a little expensive because tax and shipping charges have been added to shipping to Korea, but I think it's a very reasonable price for an American.

This bed keeps you very cool and is extremely comfortable. I purchased the A4 and it was not too soft. I am in my 60’s am above average weight and have joint pains. This mattress works great. This review is 2 years after purchase date so I have had ample time to assess.

Need two healthy people to set this up. I am 5'5" but if I sit on the side of the bed to put socks, etc, I slide right off, I bought this for my very bad back and there is no improvement. I wanted something softer. Also you wil need special deep pocket sheets at least 18". Bed is hard to make.

Incredible bed. My last bed was purchased off amazon and it was way cheaper so I was a little skeptical about a $1000 bed and how much better it really could be. I was wrong, it’s truly amazing and it has relieved so many pressure points in my back that I didn’t know I had.

I may never buy another traditional mattress. Bought this to replace an expensive traditional pillow top mattress and expected to be at least somewhat dissatisfied. But surprise, it's a great mattress! Very easy to install, no smelly off-gassing, very comfy and fits the frame perfectly...for half the price I paid for that sagging pillow top. Thanks!
