Great easy way to make coffee whether or home or traveling
Quick and easy way to make good coffee. Bought this as I travel alot and not the biggest fan of coffee pods in some of the sites I visit. I had heard of aero press before and when I saw there was a travel version I thought I would give it a go. It packs up very small and comes with a good amount of filters to get you started. In terms of ease of use, it's very straightforward to put it together and if you need there straight videos on their YouTube channel. Within a few minutes you have a good coffee and rinsed in the sink and packed away. The size was one of the major elements for me it weighs hardly anything so would be perfect if youre camping or hiking as it doesn't take much space either. As it's made of plastic I can't speak to it's life span but had it several months now and no problem. Have even started using it at home as easier to clean than my machine All in great value for money and no unnecessary functionality

Better than my coffee machine.
This is my favourite compact espresso maker. I actually use it more than my coffee machine now! It allows me to make coffee exactly how I like it, depending on my mood. It is the perfect "on the go" coffee maker. It takes up very little space in my bag and comes with everything you need to make coffee. I switched to this from a French Press and found it is a much quicker way to get a hot, smooth shot of coffee. A few things I love: Easy to clean: You just pop the coffee "puck" into the bin and rinse it. It takes seconds. Tough design: It feels very solid, so I do not worry about it breaking in my luggage. The customer service is also exceptional. I contacted them once and they were incredibly helpful. It might seem a bit expensive at first, but it is worth every penny for the quality you get. I definitely recommend it.

Very impressed.
I purchased this for an upcoming cruise (that buffet coffee is just awful). I am so impressed with this little device. Now I am relatively new to coffee and would consider myself a fairly standard coffee drinker, albeit with a developing palette that appreciates a good brew. What I like about this is how easy it is to use and moreover how easy it is to clean. It really does produce an amazing cup of coffee, quickly and without any mess. It’s so portable that it now lives in my work bag having made its successful debut at my desk. No longer shall I suffer cheap work coffee now I have my magic Aeropress. For those of you, like me that wondered if this would be much different to your standard French press - it is. Put simply, the coffee you get out of this, even with the same grinds is far superior and less bitter thanks to the pressure and filters (which are dirt cheap). It’s also far easy to clean. The only issue I can see is the go version really is a single serve device, but because you can make your brew so quickly this really isn’t an issue in my opinion. Far from just being used on the cruise, this press will be part of my daily routine as I move around with work. Thumbs up!

Would be perfect with just a couple of design tweaks
I purchased this to be able to make decent coffee on the go, and on the whole, I'd say it lives up to that. Operates identically to a standard Aeropress which is both good and bad - you can use the same filter papers for example, but if you are frustrated by things like the coffee dripping through whilst brewing then that's the same here - so I'll try to keep comments to things unique to the Go. Overall it is a neat and well thought out design. A bit like those nesting dolls you can buy, everything slots inside each other so that you can carry the entire brew-kit in one hand-held container. In total you have the Aeropress itself, a folding stirrer, scoop and a clam-shell holder for some papers. The outer shell is the mug and there is a flexible cover that goes over the top to hold everything in place during transport. Note that the cover is there purely to hold things in place for transport - it is not super watertight so don't have visions of using it to transport a full mug of coffee in your bag! Couple of small design tweaks would make it even better: First up is that when packing down the tube it is not possible to screw the filter holder back on for storage (the plunger protrudes too far). There's a fair bit of juggling to do when packing away (scoop + stirrer go in plunger first, then that in to mug, flip everything over, filter holder + clam-shell balanced on top, then lid) and everything is very lose until that lid is on. Being able to screw the filter holder in place would be one less bit to juggle and something that could be solved by altering the length of one of the components by just a few millimetres. As you're travelling light (kind of the purpose of the Go) the chances are you aren't going to be carrying things like scales or measuring jugs with you. Filling the scoop is fine (as it is essentially a measuring spoon) as is filling the plunger (has the usual marks on the side) however there is no equivalent on the (actually pretty large) mug. This means it is total guess work as to how much water to top your shot up with. A couple of indicators corresponding to single or double shots would be easy to implement and go a long way. One more thing to be aware of, which I'd class a personal preference rather than an issue per se, is that the lid does a pretty good job at keeping moisture in (although as already mentioned it is not for masses of water). This can be a good thing as, if things aren't bone-dry after you wash them up and pack them away, things in your bag don't get wet. However, it does mean that if anything is a little wet (such as the hard to dry filter holder) when put away everything else gets damp when stored. Not a huge problem except for the scoop as trying to get coffee out of the bag with a wet spoon is never a good idea. So make you you either thoroughly dry stuff or, as I do, store the scoop in the coffee bag (which starts to destroy the one-in-all ethos but hey-ho). Overall, yes, I would definitely recommend this for people that want to brew on the go/Go. Allowing the filter holder to be parked in transit, plus adding markings to the mug, would make it nearly perfect. Oh, and if an enterprising third-party were to make a 'breathable' lid then you'd have at least one customer :)

Purchased the aeropress go for an upcoming backpacking trip. It’s light weight super easy to use and clean and packs down into its self for storage. You have full control over the quality and taste of coffee it can brew and it really allows you to experiment. Every cup it’s brewed has been delicious and the quality of them is miles ahead of any drip or pour over I’ve had. I do recommend getting the flow control cap for it, as well as a reusable metal filter for more control of brew time and easy travel and cleaning. For the price this is a very durable set and a great value. I would recommend this for anyone who loves to experiment with coffee or for those that want a good cup of coffee out on the trail.

It took a long time to let the drip coffee, well….drip. Now I put the coffee into the aero press and get my coffee faster, I can’t really tell the difference with the drip or the aero press, as long as the coffee you begin with is good, it will still taste good.

Let me start by saying I'm not a coffee snob, but I have a friend who is. We both really enjoy the coffee that comes from the Aeropress GO. It's easy to use, as portable as can be, comes with a ton of filters and everything else you need for the perfect cup of coffee. If you don't have the space for a whole machine, this'll be the brewer for your bean!
