DEWALTTool Box, Tough Case Organizer, Medium, 8-Compartments, for Small Tools and Accessories (DWAN2190)

I've always got random bolts, spacers, washers, latches, bits and on and on that I need a place to store because a chaotic "junk drawer/box" has proven not to work for me, and they are things that can and likely will be useful at some point so I don't want to throw them away. Enter the DeWalt organizer! I have some cheap, flimsy plastic storage boxes that are ok but NOTHING like these and not at all as secure. For a DeWalt product (which I am slowly transitioning to in a lot of my tools) I was pleasantly surprised at the price of these storage boxes, I believe on sale for under $6 when I bought them. They are very durable, good size compartments-which are easily adjustable in size with the moveable stiff partitions, easy see through top that locks VERY securely, and I'm really diggin' the DeWalt interlocking system. I've got some DeWalt drill bit and impact bit sets (locked together), sockets and 2 of these organizers and love the option that I can lock them all together if I want/need to even when they are not the same size! I'm also trying to get my stuff more organized and these boxes and this system are becoming game changers for me. Making organization exciting again! lol I really feel for the price these are a great buy and I likely will be getting more in the future. Love my DeWalt stuff!

These little cases are pure gold for small parts. I use one for screws, one for insulated lugs, one for fuses & one for drill bits / screw tips (DeWalt makes inserts to hold bits). They all snap together and stay intact. I throw the stack in a pelican case with my tools and travel constantly. Not one issue ever. I bought 4 extra just in case they stop making them or if mine are stolen. Also, I like them enough to take time out of my busy schedule to write a review.They are that good of a $6.00 parts bin!

I originally purchased this medium Tough Case (TC) to expand my socket sizes (from the 35 pc Dewalt Impact Ready socket & bit set DWA2T35IR) and to add in my legacy drill bits. The case is well made and has dividers. As it does not come with bit inserts. I ordered genuine Dewalt inserts from a seller on eBay (e.g., Pro Tools Shop). However, I was surprised that the medium TC case is not as deep as the smaller TC cases. The 1" socket I purchased (DW2294) did not fit. As a workaround, I took all the non-socket bits out of the smaller TC to make room for the larger sockets (e.g., 3/4" & 1"). Even so, I'll need to put any additional smaller sockets into the medium case. Overall, still a good buy and handy to have the ability to stack two small TC onto the medium TC.Note: I tried to fit the stacked medium and two small TC into the lightweight DeWalt bag (comes with impact driver and drill (+ two batteries), but it won't zipper up. The bag will hold a couple of loose TCs. Fine as a home craftsman or DIYr, but I expect a pro tradesman will want to use a stackable case solution for the combined tool set instead of the bag for easier (and durable) transport.

Firstly, the description needs to mention the size. The storage box is 9" tall x 7" wide x 1-1/2" thick.The problem I was trying to solve was to find something to hold my Milwaukee drill and driver bits. I've been using the case they came in, and it's a real pain. The bits are in so tight that I have to use plyers to get them out, and there's no space for anything additional. TThis case solves both problems and provided a couple of unexpected benefits:• While the bits aren't in individual slots, they are easy enough to spot and MUCH easier to get. And, there's plenty of space for more accessories, including ones that would have been too large for the original case.• Opening the hinged lid provides a convenient tray to put small parts while I'm working on something.• This case seems pretty tough. I wouldn't drive over it with my can, but I can stand on it without it breaking.• Finally, I keep this in my tool bag, standing up. So, even though it holds more (and still has lots of room to spare), it takes up less space in my tool bag.This is a great value and I'll buy another without a second thought.

Nice product at a discounted cost that makes these an attractive option for professions or hobbyists to store various smaller parts for your needs.

I've used the walk for the last 50 years. You can transport these very Yeezy. The latches are easy, the build quality is awesome. You're definitely stackable. Enter value for sure.I would always recommend dewalt

I have the DeWalt tough tool box system 2.0 and one of those has the drawers. I needed something to keep all of my bits and blades and router stuff all in one place. I bought four of these. These things stack like the smaller DeWalt boxes that come with bits but have significantly more space that have little dividers that allow you to create whatever size space you need. At this point I'm only using two of them but I have two more as my small miscellaneous tools grow.
