I bought this to try on our stainless steel cooktop at work. In a busy day that flat top can get as. Lack as the one in the item preview. I didn’t have the brush he used but I did what he did. I scraped the grill, squirted a s shaped amount on it and I had a non-commercial soft stainless steel pots and pan scrubber. With in 2 minutes I had 90% off. I was worried about fumes. There wasn’t any but it did cause a vapor coming off the grill. I was going to do it a second time as it does say you might need to but I and a coworker decided it was fine.Very happy with the product it rinsed off very easily. I just need to find a handle, heat resistant scrubber to use with it. Grill is hot a rubber gloves only go so far.So it’s super easy to use, as for value guess it depends how long it takes to clean with a brick vs this product. For me this product wins hands down.
