Good quality
Love this product. I wanted to try black chipboard instead of the regular cardboard color and this one didn't disappoint. The quality was good as well

Just what I needed!
I bought this pack of chipboard to put behind my magnetic sheets to store my metal thinlit dies. I had to find a solution because everytime I would flip through my binder of thinlit dies the metal sheet would bow and my dies would shift around or fall off completely which is really annoying. So I thought if I could find something thin but sturdy enough to keep my magnetic sheets flat it would do the trick. I stumbled across these, gave them a shot and they work flawlessly! No more dies falling off their sheets! Not to mention the possibilities are endless on what you can use these for! highly recommend!

But it will not go to waste. My only reason to knock off one star ...
I bought this chipboard in hopes of using it to make Putz Houses or Glitter houses. It's just a bit too thick for that- and will not cut with an Exacto knife by itself. It's chipboard. It's actually decent quality thick chipboard. Unfortunately it's too thick (I thought it might be) for what I had intended it for. But it will not go to waste. My only reason to knock off one star is that people had reviewed it to be nicely cut edged chipboard. The stack I got has a corner where about 5 sheets got dog-eared and flattened. This can't be how it was shipped- as it was in a larger box and had appropriate packing. I think it got damaged because it had a scratched out "MISSHIPPED" sticker on it. So it must have been a return. The shrink wrap was kinda loose too-- as thought it had been partially opened or partially reclosed with limp shrink wrap. Meh.. I'm not too worried about it, there's a small degree of waste for what I intended and I'll find something else to use for it. OTHER Than that- it' really nice thick chipboard as I previously stated. Not quite as thick as a penny. This is good stuff to have around for various projects. I would say it's just shy of being thick enough for book board, but it's pretty darn close. Definitely good for notepads or small mini-albums. It's a good value too. Wish it had been a cleaner cut. I worked in a print shop for years and when we ordered chipboard from our paper source it was only cut down on certain days before they changed the blades. Same for our in-house bindery. So- Beware! Cutting Chipboard will dull whatever you are using... very quickly if you do a lot. As for die cutting- I'm sure it would work with the steel rule dies like Sizzix Bigz, but probably too thick for the Sizzlets and other various wafer dies. Not sure about electric die cutters... it's really thick. I wouldn't try it with my old Cricut, even with the deep housing. But that's all I have. I also tried cutting in my little 12" Fiskars cutter and it will NOT cut through. HOWEVER... it does do a nice clean job to score it and finish cutting (or not) with an Exacto knife. It's really thick though. So die cut carefully.I would buy again. Like I said- it's good to have around.

Solid chipboard
Solid chipboard. If you're looking to craft with these (think DnD, etc), they're perfect. True to size and nice thickness for crafts. No awkward smells when opened up and take to painting very well. Will use again.

This is a heavy-duty chipboard
I use this for scale model and model railroading projects, and for that it's perfect. It's thick, rigid, and doesn't warp. It's typically too thick for most cutting machines (like a Cricut). However, it cuts beautifully with a utility knife.

Satisfied Cricut Maker Customer - will buy again
The first run has been an amazing success with the Cricut Maker! For the price (roughly $17) I decided that I was going to risk ignoring the negative reviews. I needed something to make templates for sewing projects that I make a lot of (and would therefore stack fabric layers for quicker cuts) - for example I've made a lot of masks and the cheerio box templates are shredded from my rotary blade. This is the perfect thickness to resist damage from the rotary blade. Notes: ~ This is approximately the seventh project I've made with my Cricut Maker that I purchased earlier in the month. ~ The knife blade is brand new and just calibrated before the initial run. ~ Definitely should've cut it down to 11 inches to avoid the star wheels, but it worked out pretty well, so if you need something done quickly, the 12×12 size is fine (just try not to wear out your wheels by abusing them). ~ I chose the Heavy Chipboard option, which is for 2 mm (Damask Chipboard would have been more fitting since the sheets are 1.5mm). ~ KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR MACHINE! Seriously, at the material setting I had it on, Design Space was going to make 24 passes - do you know what I stopped it at? 6. I've attached a picture of the mat because you can see the cut outline. Yes the (semi mutilated) mat is one of the more expensive lightweight cricut brand mats, however when I unboxed it with the machine it was bent and has maintained a warp no matter how much weight I keep on it to flatten it *sigh*. ~ I used Scotch Blue Painters Tape to help hold the chipboard to the mat. I only had issues peeling it off from sections where the star wheels continually passed over, probably making a more secure bond to the chipboard. I'll have to see what happens with future projects.

This works great with the Cricut Maker. It is 1.5mm consistently and works with the knife blade. Good product and came very quickly. Thank you to all that share your reviews. I saw one comment where somebody said thay the chipboard got torn up during cutting. I am guessing that they had a dull blade.

Really good quality, it is not overly sturdy like a plank of wood so it’s easy to cut with a box cutter knife or precision knife, hence, perfect for crafting projects. Came quicker than expected too!
