High quality, sturdy pencil case
The quality of the materials and workmanship in this case is exceptional. I am a sewist, but could not produce a case of this quality for the amount I paid. The design allows for three pencils per slot—perfect for color group organizing. The exterior is rugged and seems to be stain and wear resistant, and is nicely padded to protect the pencils. I like the single zipper, quick access design. I wish they had more exterior fabric patterns available to purchase.

Holds a lot more then I thought it would!
I love this case! It holds a lot more then I thought it could. I have pencils, markers, gel pens and even small coloring books!

Many have same design, this one has best design & very sturdy fabrication
Pretty much all these pencil holders have the same design, pages with 2 inch strips of elastic tight enough to hold pencils in place. That being said, you can make your selection based on what design you find most appealing. Adding some more pages and increasing the side walls allows for more pencils. Eliminating pages and decreasing the side walls result in less storage. The elastic will be tight at first but will loosen, as you would expect it to, by removing and inserting the pencils. In all the ones I have and I currently use about 10 different ones, I have only had one elastic strip break. That breakage was the last strip near the inseam so perhaps it got more stress or perhaps that was the weakest point in terms of probable breakage of stitching. If the stitching does break, you can't fix it unless you have a commercial machine, it would be like attempting to sew thick leather, the "board" inside is designed to hold the weight of the pencils and is thick and stiff. I have them from all the different companies and the overall design is identical. So how to choose? Well I would get the number of pencils you need with the design you like best! I LOVE this ones fabric, it is not too floral or too youthful or old and can be used by any age. By all means if you love flowers, elephants, dogs, etc select the one that fits your interest. There are differences in the fabric. Some are fake leather, which I actually like as it is easy to clean, some are a silky feeling fabric, some feel more like a stiff canvas and some fall in between. This one is in between, not silky but not overly coarse either. Best of all the fabric resists showing stains! I made the mistake of purchasing some light colored patterns initially and it doesn't take long for them to look dirty. They DO NOT wash well as you are pretty much limited to wiping them down. If you pick a light colored fabric type one, I would suggest you Scotchgaurd the outside prior to use.The slots easily hold 2 to 3 pencils. The outside slots seem to be a bit wider in all of them and can usually hold 4. The more you put in the more you stretch the elastic so if you go from 3 per to 1 per, you may find the elastic with time has stretched enough to allow that single pencil to float. These go on sale fairly regularly so if you can wait to purchase for a black friday sales you will get usually about 20 to 30% off.I have included a photo of mine all lined up in my art cart. (There are more cases than shown, you can stick a few more in the bottom and double them on middle shelf. If you don't have a permanent storage area or desk I would recommend an art cart, it keeps all your cases in order as well as all of your supplies. )

Holds My Pencils, Reasonably Compact
I bought this for a set of 120 colored pencils plus miscellaneous other drawing implements and pencils. It works for that. My pencils originally came in a tin with plastic trays stacked inside. While that provided storage, the plastic trays looked like they would break over time so I bought this container. I like that my pencils are strapped to "pages" within the case so I can sort of flip through them looking for the color I want. The elastic loops can hold up to 3 pencils (depending on their diameter), and that is actually probably easier to use than loops that hold one pencil in other cases I looked at. I find that the loops that are attached to the front and back covers of the case are hard to use because the zipper gets in the way. I also need to be careful to alight all the pencils so their points are proteccted by the page and don't get damaged by the zipper or by being bumped. I wish the pages in the case were able to be removed. They are sewn in place, but it would be nice if I could lift them out to get a better look at my colors. I may unpick the stitching in the future.

This case is great for carrying my pencils to class with all of my other supplies. I am able to fit all 150 Prismacolor pencils into it by placing 3 per holder. I do wish the elastic band was a little different because it covers up the name of the pencil. It’s also hard to remember the order I’ve placed them in by putting 3 per holder. I was reluctant to get a case with the individual holders because I thought I wouldn’t be able to fit them all. I do like “pages” in it. Being able to quickly flip them back and forth to make my selection is very nice. I would rather have an additional page instead of the loops located on the inside of the case walls though. Maybe a net style pocket would be nice there to put miscellaneous items. It’s hard to place and remove the pencils I have stored there. Over all a great product especially at that price point.

Caben máximo 192, aun así, muy satisfecha
The media could not be loaded.
