The amount you get is great, they cook well and become nice and tender, especially after soaking over night. I've made several dishes with them and the quality is good and consistent. It's also a much better value than any that I can find in my area.

Good product, good delivery, the whole thing is on point. I was little disappointed because I want to mix things up for variety. Keep in mind that whatever you cook with black beans will turn them black also, lol. But that's just the nature of things. Same thin happens when I cook with black rice.

With this ample bag of fresh black beans, the recipe worked up just fine.If you have an instant pot, dried beans are a snap to hydrate and taste better than canned. This soup used to take near 3 hours plus the overnight soak but took 1 hour instead.And it's so much easier getting large bags of beans delivered. That's the real secret. I had stopped making this because it has many heavy ingredients And carrying groceries is exhausting.Don't take my word. Neighborhood dogs were running into my place looking for the chow.Just finished the whole bag. Can't believe I finished the bag in less than a month once I opened it. Yup, it's a keeper.

I made some black refried beans shortly after I received this. Very yummy. Pretty darn clean, found no dirt or pebbles only a few broken beans during processing.
