Armitron Men's 20/4888BKTI Black Ion-Plated Stainless Steel Watch

This is my first thick watch -- and probably the last. However, I find it I like it well enough.The Pros:-------------o Appearance -- This is a big, black watch that makes a handsome appearance.o Quality - Its stem is solid (not cheap feeling as with some watches) and operates smoothly. It keeps time well.The Cons:-------------o It's one heavy watch that could double as a wrist weight. I happen to like it, but I suspect that many will be surprised at just how heavy a watch can be.o Its calendar dials are printed so small that most will require a magnifying watch to read them. All that is practically useful are the hour, minute, and second hands -- with the latter itself rather difficult to see as its dark blue provide little contrast to the black background.o Its wrist-band is not adjustable and doesn't appear to be replaceable (which would destroy the dramatic look of the watch anyway).Overall, the watch looks better than it is, but in its favor it makes a good appearance even though it is dumb (i.e., the three smaller dials are unusable. If I could figure out how to set them, it wouldn't be worth the bother). It was designed for looks not for all its functions. However, on the plus side, it does keep accurate time.----------

This watch is very heavy. Also, the small date dials and numbers are VERY small. You almost have to have a magnifying glass to read them, making them unnecessary. My husband went to get some links removed because the band was too big and he could only get the links too tight or a little loose. A better adjustment would have been nice. The watch is good looking and I like that there is good contrast between the time increments and the background.

I love this watch. It is solid, rugged, attractive and easy to read. Amazon's $40 deal was impossible to pass up. I am a tradesman and I needed a watch for work. I have 3 Fossil watches that stopped working. My choice was to send one in for repair which Fossil charges $38 or buy this handsome new watch for $40. I made the right choice!

Nice looking watch. The blue does not stand out as much as it does in the pictures. The secondary time is just 24 hour version of the main time so can't use dual time zones (but I knew this before buying watch so did not affect my review).

Would not work right out of the box so I ordered a replacement .... that one also did not work. I wasn't taking counting on the 3rd one being the charm so I returned it all together. However I have to say that I have never experienced a problem with anything that I have ordered from Amazon in the past ... and I've ordered ALOT .... so I'm not that upset just disappointed .

This watch is so nice but it was a bit too big for my fiance's wrist. I had to return it but found it to be so nice. I wish I had somebody else to give it to.
