great product powered hub don't need comp on to use

Great product.
I only have one or two USB ports on my computers and this lets me attach my hard drive, a thumb drive, etc. I find it very useful and it works well.

Replaces an old Belkin I've had for years...
Bought this to replace an old Belkin I've had for years, but has gone senile. Easy install. Works great. My USB mouse no longer gets lost in space.

Works great, did the job
Used to get rid of Humming/hissing noise from PC fans to my sensitive mic. Works great, did the job!

Great for my application
Nice and light. It is stuck on the underside of my desk top with Velcro tape. No problems so far. I use it mainly for charging of devices but also for my usb microphone and to burn an occasional usb drive. No problems so far. Way better access than doing the gymnastics necessary to reach the USB ports on my iMac

Love it
It's a very good item that I got for my microphone to remove the static sound. It works great and it does have the 4 ports. It is very easy to use and very portable.

Only provides 1A of power at 5V
This hub is fine for recharging headphones and other low power devices. It powers the USB thumb drives I have, but fails to power the USB hard disk (spinning rust, not SSD) + any other USB device, because 1 amp is not enough power. It will power the hard disk if that is the *only* device you plug into it. The USB ports are too close together also -- two thumb drives won't fit side-by-side. My opinion: 1 amp is not sufficient for a "powered" USB hub.

Does what you would expect
What this product is supposed to do is fairly straightforward and simple. And, simply put, it does it. Easily and with no problems. I appreciate products that do that and do not take them for granted.

Great Hub, nice looking and doesn't take up much space. I needed a powered one and this one fits the bill!

Dog easy to set up and use . Even I can do plug and play

there is a little glitch when the hub is shifted, causing the connectivity of my HDD to lost, but it is resumed immediately.
