I have hesitated for a lifetime from buying gloves for grilling. Having been a professional Chef, kitchen towels and tongs do the job for me. I finally decided to buy these recently, mainly because I bake sourdough bread at home and thought these would be more appropriate than towels to move hot cast iron pans and loaves from the oven, they work.I also use them to remove cast iron pans from my Green Egg, even one that has been roasting whole chickens for over an hour and carry it to the kitchen.They work! I recommend for any busy home cook that bakes bread and or grills regularly.

They are thick & heavy duty. Works great for the griddle & pit, & even the oven. They come up to my elbow. Seasoning the flat top I didn't get burned on the sides of it like I have in the past. These gloves are heavy duty & I don't think they will ever wear out. Probably going to order a pair for the kids for stocking stuffers.

Heavy duty and thick but the sizing is tough. They are huge. Even normal or large hands will have trouble using your fingers or doing any tasks. I could barely pick anything up. I'd be just as good off using a pot holder or something. So took one star off for that. Otherwise, I would keep.

These gloves are great. I use them with my smoker all the time. I can clear out the hot wood box and add another session for more smoke no pain. The other night I had to remove my pizza stone from a 600°F oven. My fingers never even got warm. I'm not going to push my luck and find out if the max temp listed is true. I'm content knowing 600° is no problem. If someone else decides to find out about temps over 1,500° F please let me know. Only complaint, they are a little hard to get all the way on and they look kind of stupid in my opinion

I'm very happy with this purchase. It does what it says. I use them in my kitchen and they look like they could last a life time. Easy to use.

We had these gloves for a good while now and still using them all the time. They developed a hole in the one finger but doesn’t affect it any. These gloves are great and I would buy again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The gloves are great for oven and grill use, but the cuffs are too tight and I have small arms and had to roll them down because I can't fit them over my forearms
