Case Closed: Season 1-5

My daughter and I share many happy memories of watching this together when she was younger. Now that she is grown it was a happy find to discover I could buy her the series for rewatching. She loves the series still.

The listing says 1 dvd, but it is 4 per season. . Not 15 shows a year but 24 Great show (even episudes not in the manga) Truly a great show at a great price.

FANTASTIC!!

Are you a fan of shows such as "Law and Order" and "CSI"? How about of detective writers like Agatha Christie or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle? Well, this is the show for you! This series has been running for over 26 years, and recently surpassed over one thousand episodes. Considering that's one episode every week, that's quite the accomplishment! For those of you who have stomachs made of solid steel, this show spares no detail in the ways people can meet their untimely demise. Consequentially, those of you who tense up (or worse) at the mere sight of blood, should stay away! While many of these methods of murder may be highly unorthodox, the process by which the crime is committed is explained in perfect detail, true to it's roots. As far as I know, this collection of DVDs, although a little pricy, is a collage of most of the English episodes made to date (those that are interested in it's history should visit the Detective Conan Wiki page at detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Anime). Also note that, while these discs come in pristine condition, they don't always play on all players (my player is rather old, so I have to borrow someone else's to see the show in greater length).

Just like the title says, some are scratched and not from falling out of their cases either. Thankfully only like 3 or 4 DVDs are damaged and the rest are fine. Only two have trouble playing though which still sucks because I spent over $100 on these.
