NuTone Central Vacuum Extra Wide Hard Surface Floor Tool

Just what I needed and was looking for. I received it within a week and it gets that job done as promised. Thanks for a great product!

I saw that at least one reviewer said this wasn't a NuTone product. My tool came in a NuTone box and has a NuTone label embossed on the tool itself. I know that doesn't necessarily ensure that it is 100% a NuTone product, but it looks like it is. It seems to be well-made and attaches onto my NuTone wand (via button on the wand) perfectly. I LOVE having the extra width to help vacuum my hardwood floors!

My original head had the Nutone logo and a hole in the fitting to secure the head to the wand properly. The head I received did not have the logo nor the hole to fit into the wand. I am not happy with the misleading information noted by this seller.

The nozzle of the brush has a hole where a button on the vacuum tube is supposed to snap into it, thus securing the brush to the tube. My central vac tube does not have a button which will snap into it. Needless to say, the brush (which is wider than my central vacuum tube) keeps coming off. I put some thick two sided tape inside the nozzle, and the tube grips tighter that way, but will probably have to be fiddled with every so often. Not my mistake, as the product description does not mention this. But as to the piece itself it does a great job, especially with the wheels -- just make sure it will fit your vacuum.

This tool is much better than my original Nutone hard floor tool. I use it on my hardwood floor and my ceramic tile floors and it glides with ease. The original wand is a little small for this tool, but I just put some duck tape around the connector and it works great -- or you can buy the wand that will fit the tool. My carpet tool has its own wand.

Works great but lacks the hole for the extensions to click into. Will have to drill hole so it doesn't fall off during use.

Great head. Nice and wide, yet doesn't seem to reduce suction on hard floors with my little canister vac. Hair/dust eventually gets trapped in the bristles, but happens with any brushed attachment.

Very good on tile and wood floors. The width makes vacuuming floors a lot faster.

had a 14inch one awhile ago, but left it with the house when sold, glad i finally found this one, as they are hard to come by. worked fine with my standard central vac.makes a difference and speeds up vacuuming for sure.

Solid build. Great size. Been looking for a replacement head this size for a while.

Not worth the money. Wheels scratch the floor and get hair wound up in them and pain to remove.

Hard to find a wide 14” but this one is great.
