Great fit, great sound - and especially great for for sleeping!
I tried three other brands of earbuds before landing on these. Here’s why:I wear earbuds when I sleep at night, and these are the best-fitting ones I’ve ever owned. I’m a “side sleeper”, so any earbuds I wear need to be comfortable enough to fit fully-inside my ear without having the pressure of the pillow mashing them painfully it into my ear. That simply doesn’t happen with these, thanks to the fact that these sit deep enough inside your ear not to come in contact with the pillow. These come with four different size silicone tips, so you can select the right size for your ear. I found that the smallest tip (which is the one these earbuds arrive with pre-installed) fits best inside my ear, and allows me to lay comfortably on either side all night long. No discomfort, no fatigue, no pain. In fact, I often forget that I’m wearing them when I wake in the morning – that’s how comfortable these are. As far as sound goes, they sound wonderful. I listen to spoken word podcasts, so I can’t offer more detail on how they perform musically (I own a pair of BOSE noise-cancelling headphones for music). There are plenty of serious audiophiles here with reviews that provide deep-dive data related to audio, decibels, frequency, bass drivers, sound loss, etc. If all of that is important to you, then you should probably be considering more expensive earbuds. But at the end of the day, these are a $20 dollar pair of earbuds that sound great, fit really well, and are comfortable enough to wear all night in bed – or even just sitting or standing. If you want a decent, comfortable, great-sounding pair of earbuds without emptying your wallet, get these – you won’t be disappointed.

The best headphone in the market. Don't spend your money on high priced headphones.
I have tried audiophile phones with the recommendations of my friends although I thought this earphones were already top-notch. I purchased Sony Z7 and Sony Bluetooth WH-1000. I got a DAC device, too. I tried them side by side on my DAC LG cellphone with the same synchronized song. Believe me save your hundreds of dollars and get these earphones for $20.In my opinion, 110AP on my right ear, Z7 on my left ear, both playing the same song which EQs with the best way I enjoyed, the bass on 110AP hits in your head, highs are more crisp (I listened to drum cymbals especially since I am drummer). Z7 had lots of mid level, not a bad headphone at all but it is $500 for pete sake. (I purchased it for $339 but returned it after the test showed that 110AP is better IMO with a price of $20.Several years ago, I purchased several 110APs worrying that they might go out of production because everybody buying high end headphones without even knowing what they are missing with these low prices earphones.I also tried it with Sony WH1000 wireless bluetooh one. WH1000 has a little better bass than Z7 and it has incredible noise cancelling however if you move your head a little bit and the headphone moves around your ear, it disturbs the air insolation around your ear and distorts the sound. However, while walking and listening to TV, it is great. So I kept it. But it still could not beat the sound quality of Sony MDR110AP.This earphone has awesome sound quality. That is why I purchased it over and over again in the last 15 years when their cable break or something.MDR15 is similar to MDR110 with a little bass. But if you adjust to lows higher in the EQ a little higher, it keeps the same bass quality definitely. So it is like a version of 110 with a different color of sound. I liked that one, too.

Great Sound Quality for a Low Price
I bought these Sony earbuds as a replacement for the excellent quality wired Klipsch earbuds that I love and have used for years because my last Klipsch pair finally stopped working in one ear and Klipsch no longer makes/sells wired earbuds – they only offer wireless earbuds now. In any case, even though the Klipsch wired earbuds were excellent, they were around 100 bucks for a pair. These Sony earbuds are designed well and feature 9mm drivers that produce really good sound – especially considering that they are literally 1/5 of the price of my previous Klipsch pair.I am still rocking an 80GB iPod (which I love and which I will shed bitter tears over when it finally dies) that has my entire music library on it, and, being older non-Bluetooth tech, wired earbuds are a must. I was skeptical that low-price earbuds would offer anything better than low quality sound, but I was very pleasantly surprised with these Sony earbuds. I can completely recommend them, and I also recommend that you scoop up a couple of spare pairs if you prefer wired earbuds to wireless ones, since I’m guessing that a lot of big, reputable companies like Sony will also soon retire any wired earbud product lines and only also offer wireless versions in the future.Anyway, these earbuds are an excellent buy for the price. My only minor complaint is that they aren’t as ergonomically well designed as the Klipsch earbuds that I had and don’t fit in the ears as well or as comfortably (which is why I rated them 4 stars and not 5); but they fit well enough and come with a variety of differently sized silicone earpieces that allow you to adjust to the most comfortable fit. All in all, these are really good all-around quality earbuds at a price that can’t be beat.

Very good sound quality at a very good price
I've been buying earphones and headphones of all types for fifty years. This pair of earphones by Sony took me by surprise: they are as good as anything I've used up till now, and the budget price makes that even more surprising. Highly recommended.
